Don't miss out, book now to secure your spot! This condo interacts with the other condos in that it is on the second floor of a four-story building. The front section of the fourth floor is called the Congo Lounge and it is open to all guests. There are tables, chairs, sofas, and hammocks, as well as amazing views, ocean breezes, and howler monkeys hanging from the nearby trees! Alta Vista is in the Samara neighborhood of Cangrejal, on the north end of the bay of Samara. Cangrejal is a Costa Rican neighborhood, an old fishing village, and is very quiet with no loud music or bars. There is a great casual restaurant in Cangrejal just down the street towards the beach from Alta Vista called "La Perla" which offers great healthy local cuisine at reasonable prices. Two blocks away from Alta Vista opposite the beach is a popular supermarket named "La Iguana Verde", a medium size grocery and liquor store. A neighborhood like Sámara is safe in general. However always be aware of your personal belongings on the beach or in public. Please be safe yourself and considerate to the other guests of the building by closing and locking your parking garage gate. Before you arrive, please message Hilda & Patrick using the Airbnb messenger with your arrival time. It will help to exchange phone numbers at that point so you can call Hilda when you pass through Nicoya on your way to Samara. Nicoya is 50 minutes away and lets Hilda know your exact arrival time. When you pull up, you will see the sign on the front door: Alta Vista Condominiums, and the four-story building. If you’ve called us from Nicoya, we’ll be waiting to open the parking gate for you! Our friendly administrator Hilda will greet you with the keys and begin your check-in. Introducing Condo Begonia, a contemporary 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom retreat. The master bedroom has a king bed, the guest bedroom has two individual beds which are complemented by a queen size pull-out sofa sleeper in the living room, accommodating a maximum of 6 guests. Positioned on the second floor, Begonia boasts a modern and serene ambiance. The expansive floor-to-ceiling windows offer a captivating beach and ocean view, creating a picturesque setting. Relax on the private balcony furnished for optimal enjoyment of this stunning vista. The beds and linens exude luxury, ensuring a comfortable stay. The open floor plan facilitates easy movement, relaxation, and seamless appreciation of the surrounding scenery. With three individual air conditioning units, your comfort is guaranteed. Welcome to a haven where modernity meets tranquility. Most guests either choose to rent a car and drive from the airport to Alta Vista or take some sort of private transportation. I do not recommend local transportation; you'd be taking 3-4 buses! Just say the word and Hilda can help you make a reservation for a private shuttle van; we have a company that has been providing dependable service for almost a decade. They will meet you at the airport with your name on a sign and drive you approx. two hours to Alta Vista in a comfortable, air-conditioned van usually stocked with cold water and fresh fruit. The driver typically speaks enough English to get by. They will stop at a grocery store in Nicoya if you choose. Highly recommend Begonia and any of the other units - this place is amazing. The owners are responsive and kind. We were able to walk to the beach, to eat and to school, Location is perfect and the views are great! Also new additions such as renting bikes right on site was so convenient. There’s also a golf cart for rent too now. This time we rented a two bedroom unit and brought family, worked out great with the two bathrooms. Kitchen had everything we needed. From what we saw, this condo is one of the nicest places to stay in Samara and I would stay here again. Samara has the best food we experienced in Costa Rica and a beautiful quiet beach. The condo was great! Plenty of space for my family of 4\. The condo staff was friendly and helpful. We ended up renting a golf cart as the walk into town was a bit long for my kiddos. Samara is a great spot and the condo is a three minute walk to a spectacular 5 kilometre beach. Owners and staff are great and they make improvements to the property yearly which makes a great space better and better. The coco is well equipped and very safe. We really enjoyed the location which was walking distance to everything in Samara yet far enough away to feel secluded. The wild life on the property was amazing . Beautiful location close to the beach, breathtaking views and outstanding apartment and amenities. We had some very hot days, and it was great to have the pool. Fun to grill on the patio. We recommend the half-day boat tour with Denis' son-in-law -- we had dozens of dolphins swim up close to the boat and had a great snorkeling experience (even though we had no luck with the fishing). Sámara is a very special place. Also don't miss the sunset on Carrillo Beach and the nearby Barrigona Beach. We biked there, which maybe wasn't the best idea on a 95-degree day, but it was beautiful.
