There's a ton of info there, and they make clear that you need to provide most of the expendable supplies (things like kitchen towels, toilet paper, soap, etc.) - if you read the info provided there, you'll be well prepared! Check-in between 4-6pm (we got called by 5). House was clean and pool area worked out great. We reported several maintenance issues, none were fixed while we were there but the items out of service (an ice maker, clothes washer, pool-side bath) were all 1 of several on the property, so we never had to go without. A rep came out 3 days after I called, but he couldn't fix the issues that day - if something important fails, you might have a hard time getting prompt attention. But we honestly didn't feel at all inconvenienced, we had a great time. ##### Julie K. The location is perfect. Overall the house was good. Appliances were not very clean. Microwave and oven were especially gross. Neither of the ice machines appeared to be in working condition. If they did , they were so rusted and dirty so we didn’t even try. Many lightbulbs were burned out. Toilet seat in top beach master was broken. The gas cylinder on the grill was empty and the grates were filthy! Went to use it Sunday night, no gas, so had to pay for an exchange. Hopefully the next renters enjoy it. Didn’t love that the blankets are reused without cleaning. It was gorgeous, and salvo is even prettier. We're used to staying in Duck and was surprised by how much more you get down on hatteras island! This home met all our needs and our kids loved it.
