"I can't rave enough about the hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. The indoor pool was incredible. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated right across from the ferry to Valletta and bus stops. The only constructive feedback i would give is the in house restaurent is a little expensive. "Loved the place! Such a unique view over the harbour and with the hot tub, we really didn’t want to leave. Would happily stay here again. Only negative, hence 4 stars and not 5, is that the hot tub took all the colour out of our expensive swim wear (no hot tub has ever done that in all the years we’ve used them). Staff dealt with it promptly by replacing the water, which was great, but sadly the swimwear is ruined."

Recently opened to the public, the underground Lascaris War Rooms played considerably into the changing tides of WWII – the success of Operation Husky (invasion of Sicily) represented the first steps for the Allies in taking the European mainland.
