Roamin Falls Mountain Getaway - Hiker's Dream

Our area took a devastating hit due to Hurricane Helene. Saluda and Hendersonville are ready to welcome visitors again start helping businesses recover. Before booking, it is a good idea to check the locations you plan to visit to make sure they are open and you are able to get to them. There was a lot of road damage.

We are happy to host vacationers as well as workers coming to help with recovery efforts!

Summary:
Escape with the family to the charming town of Saluda, North Carolina. With its Mayberry feel, Saluda is known for its outdoor adventure. It is located close to Green River Gorge, 10 min to Hendersonville and 30 min to Asheville. The property is centrally located to apple orchards, wineries, breweries, hiking, fishing, kayaking and all the fun the Carolina mountains have to offer. After exploring, relax on the back porch listening to the peaceful sounds of the waterfall to end your day.

The Space:
The home boasts 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. It sleeps 10 in beds and has two very comfortable cots for extra guests. The home is equipped with everything you could possibly need. Enjoy all the comforts of your own home on vacation. It features a large back porch for dining and enjoying the views and peaceful sounds of the waterfall. The game room will entertain the kids and “big kids” when you are relaxing at the house. The Infinity Game Table has hundreds of activities and every board game you could imagine on a 32” touch screen table. Please take the time to look through our pictures and video to really see how much the home has to offer.

The Neighborhood:
Quiet neighborhood with just a handful of houses. Houses are spread apart offering all the privacy you desire.

Getting Around:
Plenty of parking in the private driveway of the house.

Other Things to Note:
Because you get the experience of seclusion with nature, you may see bugs in the home. We do have a pest control service but the occasional bug is unavoidable. Keeping doors shut as much as possible will help.

We can not be held responsible or offer refunds for electrical outages (home is equipped with a full home generator), if the internet experiences technical difficulties, or other utility malfunctions. The property is in a more rural area with limited options for wifi. Larger parties streaming from too many devices at once can slow down the internet speed. Guests shouldn't have any difficulty working from the home, streaming movies and tv shows or anything else as long as you don't have too many devices overloading the network.

Family Reunion in the Western NC mountains.

This property is perfect for a family reunion. The owners clearly put a lot of thought into how to make these accommodations just right for all ages. Everyone loved the game room, S'mores at the fire pit and barbecuing on the grill. Plenty of room for privacy and also for group activities. We didn't need to venture out but when we did there was plenty to do despite the problems from Hurricane Helene. Ice cream in Saluda, hikes in the Dupont forest to name a couple. We would absolutely come back to this home.

Great House

Great house, had everything we needed. Weather wasn’t great but we enjoyed family time. Saluda was mostly closed during our visit and we missed the railroad museum. Took the grandkids snow tubing and it was great fun. We would stay in the house again.

Great House!

We had a wonderful time in this well equipped home and great location! The downstairs game room was a huge hit! The upstairs kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, pots and pans, utensils, etc. Everyone slept comfortably and ate very well. The nearby barbecue place was wonderful. We would love to return.

House was perfect for my family. Lots of rooms and beds, great open floor plan upstairs with plenty of room for everyone. Kids loved the game room. House is adorable and conveniently located close to the downtown area. We had a great weekend visit!

Wonderful weekend getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. The place was very clean and super cute. We were just a short drive from Saluda, Tryon, and Hendersonville. The kitchen was well-stocked with the necessary items for cooking at home. The beds were all comfortable, and the downstairs had a great game room for the kids. We definitely recommend this place.

Can’t Say Enough Good Things!

We absolutely loved this property and our stay. The location was lovely and the interior of the home was stunning. We had everything we needed. The kids loved the game room and the adults liked the separation of the two floors but the openness of the stairs that will allowed us to hear the kids. Super close to everything. We would definitely stay again.

Mountain Getaway

A lovely new home just outside Saluda, NC with all the comforts of home. Of importance to us were comfortable beds and lots of porch chairs to enjoy the wonderful views. Easy access to Saluda, Hendersonville, Ashville, Tyron and the surrounding area. In a quiet, well maintained neighborhood. Excellent communication with the owner and the property manager.

Quick family trip

We had a wonderful time. Saulda NC is an AMAZING little town. The house is beautiful on a beautiful piece of property just a couple of miles from downtown Saulda. Everything about our stay was wonderful. We grilled out and enjoyed the fire pit. The communication was good between owner/agent at all times. The only thing i would say is if you want a true Waterfront this might not be your place. There is a small pond visible from the porch but not truly “water front” this was not an issue for us. It is a beautiful place.

We loved our vacation in Saluda. We went on several hikes close to town and drove to Pisgah for sliding rock. The house was beautiful and extremely clean. The property owners have thought of every amenity. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed. The beds were very comfortable… and the game room was awesome!

When we find ourselves in the area in the future, and I hope we do, we will rent this house again. It was clean and spacious. The coffee hutch was a fun find that my wife was grateful for. The beds were comfortable. Our children loved and enjoyed the game room. The owner is very responsive and accommodating. We were beyond pleased with our stay.

Very clean

Hi! The host was very flexible and easy to communicate with. The house was beautiful and very clean. However felt a little miss led by pictures of place. On pictures it looks like a good swimming pond so all the kids brought swim stuff and were quite disappointed when arriving that they were not allowed to swim. It would have been nice to have known or it be in description. We would not have stayed had we known that. One of the rooms also has a pic of 3 separate bunk beds but it’s really one bunk bed with a trundle so it was miss leading. Again the house was beautiful and host was amazing. We just would have personally stayed elsewhere with a place to swim so would like that to be clear in the description of the add. One more thing!!! The beds were incredibly comfy and heavenly!!! Thanks again for such a clean place! And beautiful big deck to listen to water fall!
