"The hotel itself is small and so the rooms are pretty small as well. Especially the bathroom in the room. The sink was located outside of the bathroom due to its small size. There was a terrible smell in our room. It smelled really musty in comparison to the hallway and lobby. We tried febreze and Lysol, but it was no match for the stench. We also had to ask for extra pillow and linen although the room itself featured a pull out couch. But no extra linen in the room to utilize the pull out bed. And when a pillow was requested, woman at the lobby was not sure if she could fulfill request (but thankfully did). Not a horrible location but a bit of a let down for sure. Basic needs even including an ice bucket had to be requested at the front desk."

"We had a wonderful stay. Carolyn was such a great host. We were there for the 2026 Coast Guard graduation. Carolyn helped us out immensely! She dog sat our 16 year old border collie mix, she helped us when we locked our cell phone in the home and when we went to pick up the dog, it was pouring out and I forget to return the key she lent us to get back into the home. I can't say enough of how well she treated us. I felt overwhelmed with all of the things to get ready for the graduation and she was able to keep me calm. I will be forever grateful and would gladly return to her very cute and quaint home."

"It was a nice visit to Mystic Village, Mystic, and cruise on the Argia. It's a nice walk to Mystic Village and the Aquarium. A very short drive to downtown, the draw bridge, and the Argia. The S&P Oyster Restaurant and Bar was very good, although there are many restaurants to choose from. There are also many shops to browse in town."

"The best thing about my room was the renovated tiny bathroom. It had nice marble and sink but the toilet seat was loose. And that was just the beginning of the poor state of things. The room was pretty clean but the door paint had been chipped and not repainted and the door handle was barely functional. I definitely used the deadbolt lock. The curtains on the window were a solid panel so you couldn't really open them. I slid them aside. Fun fact: the metal box the mattress sits on makes a cool "gong" noise when you accidentally kick it. This is a very basic no where else to stay kind of place. The kind of sad motel room you see in films about people on the run. Nice staff and bathroom, so they got some stars for that."

"This house was absolutely adorable and exactly as pictured! From the second we walked into this cozy rental we felt at home. Evermore was clean and well stocked with more than we were expecting. Extra towels, linens, tables, chairs, snacks, coffee, drinks were readily available. Location was great as it was close to attractions as well as shopping and dining out. One feature I haven't seen in other rentals was the ability to log in to streaming services that logged out automatically after check out. That feature was key in entertaing the little ones. The fenced in yard was great for the safety of not only the munchkins but our dog as well. Nichole and James were amazing hosts! Quick responses and great communication. Next trip to CT we wouldn't stay anywhere else."

"We had a great experience. It was one of the cleanest homes we have rented. Dishes/linens/throws.... Too often when you rent you open a drawer and see random stuff thrown in there. This rental was VERY Clean and organized and they allowed our two pups to join us. The fenced in yard was perfect. Location was great! We walked to get our morning coffee, out to dinner and to stroll down by the water. Overall, a great getaway. Highly recommend and would love to return here again someday!"
