"Very nice room, comfortable bed. Wasn't quite sure about the cleaning schedule - although when requested clean towels did appear and waste bin was emptied and coffee/tea supplies were usually refilled. But very conveniently appointed - five minutes walk to the Opera House."

Surrounded by lush greenery, this Cistercian abbey was built at the turn of the 13th Century by the then Earl of Pembroke, who swore to build an abbey here after his boat was caught in a storm off the nearby coast.
