You will be charmed by its entrance hall carved into the rock, its large living room with fireplace and its equipped kitchen. Outside, a 650 m² wooded garden and a covered terrace invite you to relax after a day of hiking or exploring. The site, listed and isolated, is bordered by a river and accessible on foot or by mountain bike. Parking is located 200m away; occasional unloading is possible by car. Wi-Fi connections, washing machine, dishwasher, baby equipment and utilities included: everything has been designed for a comfortable stay in the heart of nature. Welcome to the Le Monorail cottage, an enchanting interlude in Salt-en-Donzy, in the heart of the Loire. Nestled at the foot of the ruins of the ancient medieval fortress of Donzy, this 120 m² gîte accommodates up to 8 people in a bucolic and preserved setting, between river, forest and heritage. Upon arrival, its entrance hall carved into the rock sets the tone for a unique stay, where calm, nature, and authenticity blend harmoniously. The garden, the shaded terrace, the lapping of the nearby river... everything invites relaxation. Here, you live to the rhythm of nature and walks: the GR89 "Chemin Montaigne" trail passes right by the door.
