"A lovely location by the lake with a lakeside view. Easy reach to the beach and walkable distance to the ski resort which is opened in the summer. The flat has a private sauna. Windows could not be opened which made the place very hot during our stay. Hotel staff was very helpful although the check in desk was actually a 5 min drive away from the apartment. It was difficult to find. The check in instructions could be improved by a bit more description in addition to the check in address....

"We had an amazing time over Christmas 2023. The villa is modern with all expected facilities and more(impressive pantry contents provided), the sauna and Hot tub were used frequently with views outside that you would only imagine on a Christmas postcard. Kimmo(owner) was excellent throughout our stay and was always available to answer questions. Nearest supermarket is 10-15 minutes away and includes a store where you can buy alcoholic drinks. "The hotel is amazing, the location is key, ski-in-and-out. Right next to Ruka Ski Resort Gondola. The room assigned to me was clean, very charming and cozy. The bed was super comfortable, nice winter blankets, and soft pillows. Breakfast was included and it is a massive buffet with healthy options. I loved the food and the service. There are restaurants, shopping stores, and tour agencies all within walking distance. Also the bus stop to the airport is a 4 minute walk. I would come back to this hotel and location big time. Finland is a dream!!"

"Our stay was exactly what my fiancé and I were hoping for! The room had absolutely everything needed for a ski trip. It had a spectacular view with both a hot tub and sauna. It was spacious, equipped with all the kitchen necessities, and was close to the rentals and gondola. Not too mention all the nearby restaurants and shops. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay."

"We stayed in the igloos and cooked and ate meals both in the igloo and also dinner in the restaurant. 1. Staff were amazing and lovely 2. Food and wine options for dinner and the cosy restaurant was delightful and enjoyable 3. We also cooked and ate in our igloo and the kitchen provided all the kitchen items we needed and were happy for us to drop things off to be cleaned 4. I found the igloos to be surprisingly spacious with lots of spots to store things 5. Small compostable toilet was fine for evening use and we didn’t mind heading up to the main guesthouse for showers and to use bathrooms 6. The bathrooms are a little dated but clean and functional 7. People mentioned in past reviews about the big step to the deck of the igloo. However you don’t need to do the big step as you can walk around a different paths Overall we had a totally amazing experience and I could have stayed longer "
