The Abbey is in the perfect location. It's minutes from the beautiful church and roman baths. Within easy walking distance to stores and restaurants. No onsite parking, but a pay car park was within minutes.

This was a nice, historic hotel in a central location. It was an easy walk from the train station and very close to the Roman Baths. The area right outside the hotel is bustling with activity day and night, but it was fun for people watching. The sound-proof windows help to block out the noise, so just close them all the way.

Wonderful, cozy hotel. Has a modern yet quaint vintage vibe. The amenities are kept up to date. They also use LED lighting, I noticed, so props to eco-friendliness. Accommodating, courteous staff, and the pricing (especially for a day-of reservation) was more than agreeable. I'd definitely stay here again if I travel to Bath, England another time.

Great hotel and property. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was nice with plenty of choice. Couldn’t fault the room with a massive bathroom. Only fault we could find was the noise outside the hotel after midnight, we think it was coming from the nightclub over the road and people congregate by the pubic phone boxes which are outside the 500s rooms

Gallery room was cold. Two plug in heaters in the room. Other than that good hotel, friendly staff & great location. Parking nearby at Southgate is short walk away from hotel.

We paid for a Gallary Room with a sofa bed and were put in a double bed and they refused to move us so to the correct room, we paid more for a room we werent given to stay in.

The area was perfect for walking around Bath. The staff was great and helpful. The hotel was a bit worn out but a good price. The room wasn’t very clean and was not ready at check in time.

Very disappointed with our stay. On arrival at our room we discovered that the bed linen was frayed and torn on the fitted sheet, duvet cover was far to big for the duvet supplied. The carpet had not been hoovered or the units wiped down. Bathroom had mould above the shower and shower tray was dirty. The room was certainly not worth the price we paid on comparison to other hotels in the area. Staff were unhelpful and just shrugged when approached about the subject and still awaiting a responce from the manager.

The breakfast was also lovely with nice a-la-carte options alongside a simple but has-everything-you-need buffet. We had the family room which was spacious enough and with a lovely design/decor. On the things to improve: the room wasn't very clean when we checked-in and the sofa-bed (for the kids) was not very comfortable.

I will not stay at the Abbey Bath Hotel again!
The hotel is in a prime location. The only good point about this hotel. Unfortunately the bar area is very small & can fill up quickly. Our room was NOT good enough. This hotel is marketed as a premier hotel & has a price point to match, as such I expected a premium stay. The bedroom had mould on the wall around the soaking wet windows (indoor). Thankfully we had heavy blackout curtains to cover it up. A fridge cabinet without the fridge. A tv with the volume programmed not to go above 13. The bed 2 singles pushed together with a mattress topper (was actually really comfortable). The en-suite floor tiles that moved when walked upon, the towel warmer ready to fall away from the wall. The interior door that’s rotting from the base.
Nicely located hotel for the main Bath attractions. Small but clean and stylish room with good bath and tea making provisions. However, the heating system was impossible to work and needed instructions which were not provided resulting in a stiflingly hot room. I reported this and that the shower sprayed over the glass panel onto the toilet and that there was light bulb missing over the bed. The shower and light bulb were fixed very quickly but the heating was a disaster and never resolved. Also, there were at least 6 large air-conditioning units right outside the window and a large kitchen extractor resulting in a constant mid level noise. I believe that this room should be marketed at a lower rate to make up for the noise disruption and that future guests should be made aware. The room number was 208 - beware!
The staff were really lovely. Unfortunately our room heating didn’t work so there were 3 radiators provided, it took a long while to heat up. The room and hotel itself was lovely however
Very clean and very convenient for shopping and local pubs and restaurants.

For nearly £300 a night, the room was tiny and nothing like those shown in the pictures. Eggs Benedict for breakfast was perhaps the worst I have had, anywhere - packet ham, poacher pan eggs and the most horrible hollandaise, I could not eat it. Such a disappointment, my daughter has made me better eggs Benedict.

The property location was perfect. Unfortunately they do not give you the room you pay for, the bathroom door was broken, keys to room kept malfunctioning and breakfast was a 1hr wait and paid for 2 morning breakfasts and was allowed 1. Due to system upgrade errors

Excellent position for exploring Bath. Everything within walking distance and close to many good restaurants. Overall Hotel excellent. Room comfortable but perhaps a bit smaller than expected and quite dark. Bathroom facilities excellent. Breakfast very good but bacon could be a little less tough. But would definitely recommend hotel.

Firstly the pictures are very decieving and very small. The A/C cannot be controlled in the room and the room was very stuffy and hot.
The TV was lagging and constantly buffering and i could not connect my phone to mirror on TV. The source button would not work and was told to use the buttons oj the TV.
The staff did not help to rersolve this and was told they will make a good will gesture however nothing was done.
Very comfy stay at the Abbey, close proximity to train station but also right in the heart of things in lovely Bath. Friendly and helpful hotel staff, nice hot shower and clean comfy room.
