Épicerie, pizzeria, pharmacie, marché de fruits et légumes à quelques minutes de route. Plusieurs bons restaurants autour, sur les plages (Chez Francine, Madras 2, etc.). La villa est spacieuse, la piscine magnifique, le patio presque entièrement couvert (bien pratique quand il pleut!). La mezzanine ne peut être utilisé comme chambre car il fait trop chaud et il n’y a pas d’air climatisé à cet endroit. Deux petites fenêtres assurent une ventilation adéquate, mais ça demeure chaud en soirée et nuit. Le stationnement peut accueillir 3 petites voitures. Du patio, la vue sur la mer et les environs est spectaculaire. Finalement, bien que la villa soit très fonctionnelle telle qu’elle, elle aurait besoin d’être mise au goût du jour car elle se fait vieillissante. En définitive, cette villa représente un très bon choix pour une famille (nous étions 5 adultes), son prix de location est compétitif (février 2025) et sa situation géographique est parfaite pour quiconque loue une voiture (une obligation, vraiment!). ##### Benoit T. La plongée sous-marine à la réserve Cousteau, nager avec les tortues à Malendure.. Goûter aux spécificités locales dans les petits restos du coin... Une vue imprenable sur l'îlet de la tête à l'Anglais.. Une tête dans la piscine... Notre famille a pu se ressourcer et reprendre des forces avant de reprendre l'avion. Some of the paintwork around the doors would do with a touch up but the kitchen is fairly modern and well equipped. A teapot for English visitors would be appreciated. :-) Notes on recycling and bin days would have been helpful although Laetitia did mention it. Having something written down would have helped. Fresh sheets and towels after the first week of a two week stay should have been standard (we had to ask for them). Lovely garden and birds. Easy access to nearby supermarket and Boulanger's but need a car. ##### Jan B. D'abord cette région de la Guadeloupe nous a beaucoup plu: très belles plages et environnement dépaysant et très agréable. Je dois dire qu'à notre arrivée, nous avons été déçus par la maison. Le terme "standing" de la description donnée par l'annonce me paraît exagéré. La maison n'était pas propre: cheveux dans les douches, cafards morts sur les sols, carrelages poussiérieux et encrassés. La piscine et la cuisine étaient impeccables. J'ai utilisé une fois le sèche-linge et j'ai été étonnée de le trouver archi-plein de linge, que j'ai du ranger! Cette maison pourrait être magnifique avec un meilleur entretien. La chaîne hifi ne fonctionne pas (que de poussière derrière la télé quand on s'approche du meuble!), je n'ai pas trouvé le sèche-cheveux, une porte de placard est cassée dans la partie derrière la chambre parentale. Je n'avais pas de contact sur place et ne pouvais donc pas avoir des réponses à mes questions (je n'ai jamais eu de réponse pour savoir que faire des poubelles). Le mobilier extérieur a besoin d'être changé, surtout pour garder une villa de standing. Malgré ces remarques, je conseille tout de même cette location: quel plaisir d'avoir cette vue en se réveillant! la piscine est très agréable! la cuisine est bien équipée! Une fois la déception de l'arrivée passée, nous avons été très heureux, grands et petits, de notre séjour. Sylvie ##### Sylvie D.
