This is the forth time staying at this magnificent, family owned hotel. They are so welcoming and accommodating. My husband and I felt like family. The breakfast was delicious, some items were home made. The location is fabulous. We could see the ocean from our room. We will come back. Highly recommend.

This hotel is so lovely and hospitable. We really didn’t want to leave but we had already booked another. The owners are so lovely to be around and the atmosphere is family friendly. You feel very comfortable here. It was perfect for the price and the location. Everything is so close and the breakfast was very good. If you don’t want to walk up stairs with your luggage this is one thing to consider but it’s a very easy 3 minutes. The rooms are clean and tidy but the best thing about this hotel is the he hospitality. I have stayed in many hotels and I really felt like this was one I would definitely stay again..

Le Chardon Bleu is family owned and ran by the most amazing husband and wife duo. They were extremely welcoming, helpful and accommodating. We truly enjoyed our stay there due to their charismatic energy and sweet demeanor. The area was extremely safe and very walkable with lots to do in the area. Not to mention their puppies who hang in the lobby and greet you when you walk in. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who loves to support small businesses/ family owned businesses. Thank you very much Guillaume for your hospitality. We will definitely be back whenever we return to the South of France.

Fab hotel!

We have just spent 6 nights at this lovely family run hotel. The hosts are unbelievably helpful to ensure your stay is perfect. They assisted us with tickets for the ferry to Ste Tropez and made a reservation there for a fabulous restaurant. They provided secure enclosed parking for €25 per day and even escorted me to the local optician for advice on an eye issue which was so helpful. The room had a kettle and fridge which were useful. The host even lent us a plug adapter and a clothes steamer was available if required too! We have stayed in Ste Maxime a dozen times before and stayed at almost every hotel in the area and I can honestly say that this one is one of the best. It has the kindest hosts and it also has a fab location which is a couple of minutes from the beach, restaurants, bars and shops. So do not hesitate to book this one if you are looking for a central location and value for money.

I am not paying for this hotel. When I got there there was no reception no way to get a hold of anyone and the room when I entered had bugs flying all on the bed and around. We did not stay so I am not paying
