"Mick and Inga were wonderful hosts for our 10 day stay at Cammas de Bas. The Gite is next to their farmhouse and has everything that is needed for a self catering holiday. The pool is fantastic-very refreshing and just the right temperature with plenty of relaxing loungers around. "Unfortunately not at all as we expected. It really is in the middle of nowhere - so dangerous hairy roads to negotiate meaning no chance of fresh morning croissants. As to returning in the dark after a night out - definitely not! The interior is nicely decorated but not very cosy with a very basic kitchen definitely designed by someone who doesn't cook. We left after only one night!"

"The location of the holiday home is ideal when you want to discover the area around Carcassonne. It is very spacious and nicely decorated. The kitchen is a dream. The home is ideal in winter, spring or autumn but not when you search rest sitting outside at the pool as it is very loud from the highway. I assume you can't open a window during summer months. For the rest it is perfect."

"They charged me £35, but when I arrived at the hotel, it was completely closed. The gates were shut, all the doors were locked, and there was no sign of life — no staff, no guests, nothing. I tried to contact the hotel directly but received no helpful response. I then reached out to Expedia customer service, but they refused to issue a refund. It was clearly a scam — no one was there, and it appears they’re just taking money from people. This is unacceptable and very poor service. I strongly advise others not to trust them."
