That was untruthful. the nearest beach is 2,5 km away. Next one 3,5 km away. You cannot walk anywhere from this house. The only way down to the village is a narrow busy road with no sidewalk. Dangerous to walk. The patio and the garden are great. Comfy furniture, beautiful views. You cannot really swim in the pool, it is too shallow for swimming. The kitchen was well equipped. The downstairs of the house had a foul smell coming from the sewers. From the sewers also came the cockroaches which were climbing all over the walls. We resolved the problem of the stench and the roaches by spending all our time outside. Once we were leaving for the airport, the cleaning lady told me it was not her job to do the end-cleaning of the house and made me scrub the toilets before we left. After we had left the property, the landlord tried to extort more money from me, which was totally not in accordance with the rental agreement ##### Tarja S. La maison est spacieuse, avec une grande terrasse couverte tout autour et un coquet jardin fleuri à la végétation luxuriante au bord de la piscine. L’endroit est situé dans un domaine de 4 maisons sur les hauteurs de Sainte-Anne et offre une merveilleuse vue sur le contrebas, la mer et les îles au loin (Basse-Terre, les Saintes, Marie-Galante…). Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Manu qui a agrémenté la maison de plusieurs attentions, ma foi, fort plaisantes. Sainte-Anne est assez idéalement situé et permet de rayonner facilement sur les différentes parties de la Guadeloupe. Si vous avez l’occasion, poussez une pointe vers Les Saintes tout à fait charmantes. Nous ne pouvons que recommander cette location et y retournerons avec plaisir. ##### Robert R.
