"Excellent traditional french logis hotel & restaurant run by the second & third generation of the family who created it from the family farm and full of old farm tools and implements. Very comfortable bed though traditional bolster with huge pillow and bed covers could be replaced. Very good traditional French country restaurant with local specialities and delicious local red wine plus good indoor swimming pool and views of the lovely countryside with sheep in the fields from the window. "A bit of a mixed bag, the hosts were great and welcoming. I guess as it was just out of season the advertised restaurant / bar was not in operation. A bit of a remote location and a 20 minute drive to get food in the evening. Breakfast was great and delivered with a personal touch."

"We went there as an alternative to staying in an ibis , the renovation of this chateau was great, although the rooms are hot no air conditioning or fans provided, we asked about dinner and they said yes but the meals were limited and we’re heated by a micro wave , the staff tried hard and we’re pleasant , when we got there the door was locked (after 4.00pm) and took a while to get in touch with them. "
