Saint-Urbain-Premier Holidays from £842

This place was so nice. The unit was clean, kitchen had everything we needed to cook and clean with, there was detergent for the washer. I’ve read other reviews that it is loud around there - it’s a city (but still quieter than my hometown city). We basked in the morning and afternoon sun on the terrace and swam in the rooftop pool. Fitness center and saunas are both nice. One block to metro stop, lots of restaurants around, across from Concordia, walkable, grocery stores nearby, 3 blocks to St Catherine shopping district, close to fine arts museum. A+ staff (Hi Selma!).

Pas de stationnement, pas de moyen de rejoindre l’hébergement, j’ai écrit plusieurs messages sans réponse. Un courriel m’a été transmis 5 heures avant 16h avec les instructions. Messages automatiques seulement. J’ai appelé au téléphone à plusieurs reprises et aucune réponse… Finalement, l’appartement était très bien mais beaucoup de stress inutile.

Seamless check in at this spacious property in a hip section of Montreal. It was like being in French speaking Brooklyn.

Location is great - right on the main cobblestone street of Old Montreal. Size of the place was ok. Kitchen was fine. There is absolutely no staff onsite, but they are responsive by text. Negatives: Smells of Curry 24x7, especially at entrance, but the smell wafts all over the place - like really strong. Indian Restaurant next door. Very noisy AC outside permeated the living room. had to close BR door to block it out. Cheap dirty rug in living area. Lots of dust and cobwebs. Cheap dirty Chairs in dining area. Strange assortment of snacks, albeit free which was good I guess. Felt like maybe 2.5 to 3 star place.

This is sort of an odd hotel. We like quirky boutique hotels, but this one is uneven at best. Great location but rooms on the street are incredibly noisy. We moved to a quieter inside room the second night. No Kleenex in first room but two boxes in second. No toilet paper holder or toilet paper in the second even though the maid had alerted the staff. Very loud creaky floors. Elaborate showers with two shower heads for couples but little water pressure. A window into the room so others can watch you shower. The continental breakfast consists of soggy croissants, corn flakes, sweet yogurt, and canned fruit cups. Some folks seem to love it, but we won’t be back. The staff we dealt with were very nice.
