Gîte de la poucinière – Restored Farmhouse for 14 with Panoramic Views
Holiday home for 14 guests in a restored former farmhouse with stone walls and a slate roof. Three spacious bedrooms, each with private bathroom and WC. Large living area with fireplace and pellet stove. Expansive outdoor space and private parking. On-site sheep grazing and wool processing, with wool products and yarn for sale.
The Wool Workshop offers a studio-boutique where you can discover the different stages of wool processing, from raw fleece to finished yarn.
Located near La Bourboule and Mont Dore, at the foot of Banne d'Ordanche, between the Massif du Sancy and the Chaîne des Puys, the gîte provides panoramic views of the region. During your walks, you can admire varied landscapes: volcanoes, ancient glacial valleys, plateaus, lakes, rivers, and waterfalls.
The area is rich in castles (Cordès, Murol), Romanesque churches (Orcival, Saint-Nectaire), spa towns (La Bourboule, Le Mont Dore, Saint-Nectaire), and museums (La Toinette Museum, Rural School Museum). Discover Auvergne gastronomy with local producers.
