As a lone ,older, female traveler I must say that the staff could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and considering that I spoke very little French. They could not have been more helpful.
The room was spacious, very clean , comfortable and extremely quiet. The breakfast facilities were adequate and there was plenty of variety. Again the staff were very attentive and friendly. I can recommend Hotel Vatel and would not hesitate to stay there again.

Check in was poor. They sent message not received. Spent 1.5hr sat on pavement before finally communicating and letting ourselves in. No ability to get any food. Had to find take away. No ac so room temp >30oC overnight. Little sleep Breakfest rudimentary. Staff un engaging
