"Overall a very good experience, friendly staff, excellent accommodation, outstanding evening meal. The only poor part was the poor breakfast. However would not hesitate to stay there again - we’d eat breakfast elsewhere. "

"On arrival the appearance is less than welcoming - untidy looking at best. Initial reception went well. Room was standard however the window blind had fallen off. Only one additional pillow was available - for two people staying in a double room? On reporting the room blind broken, despite being told "I'll come with you to look" I was kept waiting for 15 minutes, in Reception whilst other 'new arrivals' were dealt with. We were then just given a different room - obviously there were insufficient staff available in this instance which was unsatisfactory.
The restaurant and bar area were very satisfactory as was the food provided for both dinner & breakfast.
We have stayed several times at this hotel over the years but will be looking for a different one on our next visit as we pass through the area."
