We visited with our son who is in a wheelchair and the property was very suitable for his needs. The outside dining and seating areas are excellent . The surrounding garden and extensive grounds are wonderful and so peaceful. The property is terrific. Although the house can accommodate 8 people, we travelled as a couple with our 2 Labrador dogs. We chose the property because of the description and reviews. We were not disappointed, the house is very well equipped and has a massive garden which our dog’s loved. We felt comfortable that they were safe even when out of sight. The location is also very good, 10 minutes from the nearest supermarket in St Pierre and 10 minutes walk to the nearest beach. Trips to places like Rochefort and La Rochelle are also within easy reach. The owner Patrick, visited us on the mid Saturday to ensure that all was well. He speaks good English so any Brits should feel comfortable. In summary, a great rental which suited us perfectly and I would recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful holiday in a modern, well equipped house. ##### Robert M. Une magnifique allée de pins mène au bâtiment, qui est entouré d'un grand parc bien entretenu. Différentes espèces d'arbres agrémentent le parc, offrent beaucoup d'ombre et assurent un divertissement acoustique lorsque le vent souffle dans les branches.Le parc abrite également de nombreuses espèces d'oiseaux que l'on peut observer tout au long de la journée. Dans l'étang situé à l'écart de la maison, des grenouilles s'ébattent et, de temps à autre, un héron fait son apparition. Tout comme le parc, la maison est très bien entretenue et équipée, rien ne manque. La cuisine comble tous les souhaits, le Wi-Fi fonctionne parfaitement, il y a un barbecue au charbon et à gaz, des vélos, une table de ping-pong et d'autres équipements sportifs.Des abris sont disponibles en nombre suffisant sur les côtés sud et ouest, ce qui permet de passer toute la journée à l'extérieur. Les commerces sont accessibles en moins de 10 minutes en voiture, tout comme les restaurants et différentes plages, qui sont beaucoup plus proches, à quelques minutes à pied ou à vélo.Le propriétaire est très soucieux que tout se passe bien et est joignable à tout moment - merci beaucoup !Il est vraiment très facile de passer de merveilleuses vacances ici. ##### Laurenz U. Nous étions comme à la maison (pas du tout le sentiment d’être dans une location). Tout était prévu pour recevoir des enfants en bas âge (du marche-pieds pour petits aux jeux de jardin). La maison est belle et accueillante. Le jardin est tout simplement magnifique et source d’émerveillement pour les enfants (et les parents). Petits et grands ont adoré. La maison est décorée avec beaucoup de goût, elle était ultra-équipée que ce soit en terme de loisirs, d'équipements de cuisine, de vaisselle ou de literie ce qui est très appréciable pour une location. Et si vous cherchez un endroit calme sans voisinage dérangeant, vous avez trouver le bon endroit. Cela faisait bien longtemps que nous n'avions pas aussi bien dormi!!! C'est une vraie grande maison pour 8 personnes superbement décorée, bien agencée et très bien équipée. L'extérieur est magnifique avec ses différentes essences d'arbres et du mobilier de jardin un peu partout sur le domaine. Les vélos mis à disposition étaient en bon état et prêt à rouler. Das Haus hat einen riesigen Garten mit schönem Baumbestand mit Hängematten sowie Süd- und Westterasse, Aufgrund der Jalousien bleibt das Haus schön kühl. Die Ausstattung ist vollständig und der schöne Weber-Gasgrill komplettiert die Küche. Mit den Fahrrädern sind die nächsten Märkte und Eisdielen schnell erreicht. Wer den Sport nicht lassen kann, läuft einfach hinter dem Haus los oder klappt die beiden Tischtennis-Platten auf. Zur Agentur war keine Kommunikation notwendig, die Kommunikation mit Patrick per Email sowie der telefonischen Einweisung bei Ankunft spitze (für mich auch in englischer Sprache). ##### Michael v. Ein absoluter Traum mit selten erlebter Privatsphäre. Ganz leise hört man das Meer, je nach Windrichtung rauschen, sonst nichts. Das Haus bestichst vor allem durch die Küche, das Wohnzimmer und das neue Bad. Die Bilder repräsentieren das sehr gut. Für uns war es in natura noch besser. Wir waren dort im Winter und trotz aller Abgeschiedenheit gab es in der Nähe sehr gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten wie zum Beispiel mehrere Märkte. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. ##### Olaf P. Das Haus liegt wunderschön, etwas abseits der Stadt, und wird von einem sehr gepflegten parkähnlichen Gelände umgeben, das unser Hund sehr geschätzt hat. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und bietet auch für 6-8 Personen genügend Platz, um gemeinsam zu kochen und zu essen. Die tolle Ausstattung und gute Qualität der Geräte muss man wirklich betonen - es hat uns diesmal nichts gefehlt und wir hätten einige Dinge, die wir aus Erfahrung mit anderen Ferienhäusern immer mitnehmen, auch zu Hause lassen können. Im großen Wohnzimmer und in einem Schlafzimmer gibt es einen Fernseher mit SAT Empfang, allerdings werden keine deutschen Sender empfangen (was uns nicht gestört hat). Das WLAN funktionierte in allen Räumen tadellos, sodass man bei Bedarf über ein HDMI Kabel auch Sendungen auf das Fernsehgerät übertragen könnte. Alle Zimmer waren liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Wegen des etwas regnerischen Herbstwetters konnten wir die tolle Außenanlage mit Tischtennisplatte, Grill, Außenbestuhlung etc. nicht so oft nutzen - aber auch hier besticht das Haus mit einem tollen und reichhaltigen Angebot. Das Meer erreicht man zu Fuß in etwa 10 Minuten und wir (und der Hund) haben die langen Spaziergänge am Strand und hinter den windschützenden Dünen sehr genossen. In Saint-Pierre d'Oléron, 10 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt, findet man mehrere große Supermärkte, aber auch einige gute kleine Geschäfte, in denen man z.B. Muscheln und Fisch kaufen kann. Der Hausherr, Patrick, hat uns sehr gut betreut, einige gute Tipps und Hinweise gegeben und nach unserer Ankunft und vor unserer Abfahrt kontaktiert. Auch Catherine und Daniel, die das Haus vor Ort betreuen, waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit und trotz unserer schlechten Französischkenntnisse haben wir uns gut verständigen können und verstanden gefühlt. Insgesamt war es eine wirklich tolle Zeit in einem sehr schönen Haus, in dem wir uns wirklich zuhause gefühlt haben. Wir kommen gerne noch einmal wieder! ##### Alexander M.
