Not sure if it was because it was end of season but whole area in need of some tlc. Restaurant closed apart from pre ordered breakfast. Kitchen drawers had food bits in them an floor dirty. Not shown where bins or indoor pool was on arrival. Chair broken. A shame as has potential.

Helpful staff. Room initially was for handicapped— so we had to move. Room large and bed comfortable. Shower large but extremely slippery (needed rubber mats). Closet space too small for 5 day trip. Buffet breakfast very nice with custom cooked omelettes.

"The Pelican is a great property. Unfortunately due to flight cancellations and delays, we only got to stay for 12 hours so we did not get to experience the property. It is near the lake and close to downtown and the canals. After a long 2 days of travelling, the check in staff were very welcoming. ..."
