We hebben een fijne vakantie gehad met dit charmante huis. Wat met een kleine wasmachine, kleine vaatwasser, NL zenders en gratis WIFI van alle gemakken was voorzien. We zijn dagelijks goed ontvangen door het personeel van dit domein. Er waren zelfs Nederlands sprekende medewerkers, maar ook de Franse medewerkers deden hun uiterste best om een woordje Engels te praten. De huizen liggen prachtig gelegen met veel privacy. We hadden geen eigen zwembad, maar wel een gezamenlijk zwembad pal om de hoek. De zwembaden van het park komen op de foto's overigens groter over dan ze daadwerkelijk zijn. Op de foto's lijkt het alsof je vanuit het zwembad van de kastelen recht op de kastelen kijkt maar dat is door de enorme hoogteverschillen niet. Dit maakt uiteraard niets uit maar kan voor sommige wellicht een tegenvaller zijn. Het domein is heel mooi en enorm heuvelachtig maar een lust voor het ook voor wandelaars. Golfers hebben een grote 9 hole golfbaan, maar voor ons had dit geen meerwaarde. De banen lagen er wel netjes bij en werden dagelijks gemaaid. Wij zijn half september geweest. Qua toerisme is het in de omliggende dorpen wel enorm uitgestorven. Echter is dit een mooie uitvalslocatie voor bezoeken aan verschillende kastelen, grotten of het prachtige Bordeaux. Deze accomodatie staat te koop en als we geld zat zouden hebben, dan zouden we een aankoop zeker overwegen en er de volgende wijzigingen in aanbrengen zolder muizenvrij maken, tegelvloer gehele woning eruit en isoleren, aanrechtblad keuken gedeeltelijk verhogen zodat een niet-rolstoeler de keuken ook goed kan gebruiken zonder rugpijn, tegels aanrechtblad eruit omdat de voegen schimmelen, een grotere en goed werkende vaatwasser erin (in 2014 is al gemeld dat de vaatwasser het niet doet en in 2018 deed 'ie het nog niet), in de grote slaapkamer zouden we de kast met gordijn of schuifdeur afsluiten, in beide slaapkamers zouden de bedden verstevigd kunnen worden, in de badkamer zouden we een minder schimmelgevoelige vloer maken en een muurtje of douchegordijn plaatsen, de douchekop/douchestang hoger hangen, de wastafel vervangen door twee kleinere (een hoge en lage) wastafels om niet-rolstoelers tegemoet te komen en we zouden de eetkamerstoelen vervangen want die zijn (waarschijnlijk door de muizen) stukgevreten. Op het terras zouden we een bouwkundige check doen omdat een staande balk beschimmeld is en hol klinkt. Toch is het een goede vakantie geweest, mede omdat we zo veel op het prachtige overdekte terras konden zitten. Veel privacy bij het huisje.
