A gite of character and grand comfort in the heart of nature

Authentic "Cevenole" house built in the 17th century, restored with care and providing all modern conveniences, set at the end of a charming 1,5km winding road in a hamlet of 9 houses.

The environment is outstanding, poised at the gates of the Cévennes and the Grands Causses.

Swimming in the Vis river is 5 minutes away by car and you can also swim in the Hérault river

- On the day of your choise for a minimum of 4 nights
- EXCEPT in JULY and AUGUST, stays are organized from Saturday to Saturday

There are two separate cottages in the mas

2 confortable bedrooms:
- One bedroom with 1 double bed (1,40 x 1,90)
- One bedroom with 2 single beds ( 0,90 x 1,90)

Renoviertes Bauernhaus in beeindruckendem, kleinen Weiler. Sehr freundliche Vermieter und wunderbar köstliche Tomaten aus dem Garten! Toller Ausgangspunkt, um die Cevennen kennenzulernen! Die erste Wanderung startet quasi am Haus.

Vacances reposantes à l'ombre des Cévennes

Le gîte est dans un cadre magnifique, permettant de profiter du jardin, pour se rafraîchir dans le bassin et lire à l'ombre des arbres lors de cet été caniculaire. C'est un endroit idéal pour se reposer et découvrir notamment le cirque de Navacelles et la bambouseraie, que je conseille pour les amateurs de nature et de flore. J'ai profité également du hamac sur la terrasse pour dormir à la belle étoile, spectacle garantie. Les hôtes ont été particulièrement disponibles et accueillants.

Dem Himmel so nah

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt bei bestem Wetter. Die Alleinlage erlaubt in der Nacht einen außergewöhnlichen Blick auf den Sternenhimmel, ganz zu Schweigen von der Aussicht in die Cevennen bei Tag. Als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen zu Fuß und mit dem Auto bestens geeignet! Hoffentlich können wir bald wiederkommen.

Ein Paradies, falls…

In der Zeit unserer alleinigen Anwesenheit haben wir Haus und Umgebung sehr genossen, ein Traum, wie schon andere Urlauber beschrieben haben. Die Besitzer sind nett und unkompliziert, wir durften Tomaten ernten, die lecker sind…Nur: irreführend ist es, nicht auf die mögliche Anwesenheit weiterer Urlauber im gleichen Gebäude mit großer Terrasse direkt über unserer hinzuweisen, es handelt sich nicht um eine, sondern zwei Appartements in dem sicher urigen alten Gemäuer. Wir hatten so in der ersten von drei Urlaubswochen Lärm von Oben, morgens früh und an den Abenden (4 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder, ein Hund, inkl. Musik und lauter Unterhaltung ohne Rücksicht auf uns. Daher geben wir 2 Sterne Abzug, leider, denn es kann wirklich ein Paradies sein!

Un gîte très accueillant dans une nature préservée

La Combe, c'est un hameau cévenol intelligemment préservé par quelques passionnés. Joelle et Patrick sont de ceux là, et nous y accueillent chaleureusement. Nous tombons immédiatement sous le charme de ce vieux mas amoureusement restauré, meublé à l’ancienne et décoré avec gout. Parfaitement équipé pour recevoir les visiteurs.C’est un merveilleux balcon sur la nature, pour se reposer de la fatigue des randonnées à l’entour, ou de l’agitation du monde. Merci à Joelle et Patrick de nous avoir fait partager leur petit paradis. Nous espérons y revenir. Michel et Jeannou

Wenn man die knapp zwei Kilometer lange enge, steile und kurvenreiche Zufahrtstraße bewältigt hat, kommt man in dem kleinen Ort La Combe an und hat einen tollen Blick auf die Berge und die Umgebung. Die mit Antiquitäten geschmackvoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Blick von der Südterrasse ist toll und nachts kann man hervorragend die Sterne beobachten. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können die Wohnung sehr empfehlen.

Un lieu en pleine nature avec une vue superbe et très calme. Une maison atypique très bien équipée avec sun jardin immense. Il est bon à savoir que pour y accéder la route est étroite et pentue, cela peu être perturbant lors des premières montées ensuite on s'y fait.
