"The photos do not do this property justice. Its a lovely large secluded house in the middle of sunflower fields. The owners live next door and were on hand for anything we might need, but we didn't see or hear them unless we needed to. They were the perfect hosts. "This was a typical house with steep stairs to the bedrooms and bathroom. Toilet was downstairs. The house is well situated, a short walk to the centre of Bergerac, the boulangerie and supermarket. We had a few problems with the boiler cutting out, even in the middle of a shower. Contact with owner was not easy but she did send a plumber round, by then we had fixed it ourselves. A big problem for us was a hole in the living room ceiling, approx 6ft x 3ft. This exposed the floorboards and joists...
