House upgraded in April 2023 on the water across from Sanibel Island at the end of Monroe Canal. Enjoy the awesome view from the deck overlooking the mangroves and water. Bring your boat, boat lift included. Launch the included kayaks, the bikes, or just kick back on the deck watching the boats and dolphins. Great fishing awaits you in the sound, or head out into the gulf for the really big catch. This property is at the end of a canal which greatly decreases your no-wake time navigating canals both going out and coming back in. Monroe Canal Marina boat ramp just up the canal.

You will find it very clean. Great WIFI throughout! 10% discount on rentals for 28 days or more.

Pine Island is more of a slow island style tempo than even the rest of western Florida. There are several bars and restaurants close by, but no high rise condos on Pine Island. The neighborhood is mostly seniors and families with grandchildren. Frequent visitors from the sea include dolphins right in front of the villa. Ample parking in the driveway for a boat trailer. Boat rentals and Golf Cart rentals available close by. Saint James City, is a street legal golf cart community! Incredible view at this price. Compare a final price quote with other properties, no cleaning fee, zero! There is a $100 pet fee.

Comfortable place w great views. Has boat lift which makes it easy access for great fishing.Great sunrises and breezes. Would recommend for adults because of no pool for kids. Ate at many great places and keeping business to the island as much as possible.

Great view

The house was clean and comfortable. Super easy access to Tarpon Bay, Ding Darling and Blind Pass. The view from the deck is awesome.

What a view! What wildlife!

We are repeat renters and have found our little spot in the warmer climate! It is far from the crowd that is now typical of Florida! Every day we are entertained by the many boats going up and down the canal and the regular visits from dolphins, water birds and manatees. Can’t imagine a better spot!

Dolphin Haven

We enjoyed our stay, everything was has stated in the listing. Everyday we saw dolphins from the deck. This was our second year and will go again. The host was very easy to contact and he replied in a timely manner. Great spot to enjoy our time.

Quiet Fishing Get Away

My wife and I wanted a quiet get away and that’s what we got. Great location for fishing from the wall or renting a boat. Definitely going back if I’m able.

Fisherman's Paradise

Great location with stunning views. House is at the end of a cul de sac, so it's quiet with very little traffic. Fish right from the backyard or rent a boat and park it on the private lift.

Still one of my favorite places

This place is just amazing. Gorgeous views. You have great sunset and sunrises. It's good to see that the island is rebuilding after Hurricane Ian. Will be renting again soon!

Fishing, Wildlife and Location

My husband is an avid kayak fisherman. He was able to launch right at the culdesac where the house is located. The fishing was amazing! He may never fresh water fish again. We all really appreciated the fact that the house is at the end of York Rd. Very little traffic. My sister and I loved the view from the back deck. The dolphin and manatee visit daily. Which we loved! The pelicans were so much fun to watch. They feed right there in the canal, with the dolphin and manatee. The people on the island are very friendly. Access to restaurants and shopping is super easy. We all had such a wonderful time! Can’t wait to go back.

Great location Great home

This was our 2nd visit to this property and we hope we will be able to come again soon. We come to fish so having the boat lift and easy access to open water is wonderful The house is well cared for and the check in - check out process is easy. The neighborhood is friendly and the contact person is helpful and prompt and just a text away even though we encountered no problems.

Excellent getaway

This house is simply amazing. The views from the balcony are breathtaking. You can catch fish right from the back dock never have to go anywhere it’s located on the end of the canal, which makes it easy to get in and out. The house was fantastic like a fisherman’s dream.

Beautiful Deck View

We had a wonderful vacation in St James City. The boat lift was great. The view was great. The house was set up perfectly for 2 couples because of the split plan. King beds would be preferred over the full/queen beds. We will stay here again. Loved it.

We loved the view out the back. We had a Christmas boat parade and a Christmas golf cart parade come right by the house. Had some issues with the boat lift when we first arrived but the owner had a lift company come out right away and do some maintence on it. Thank you Robert for a wonderful month.

The house was perfect for us! We absolutely loved the view and ease of access with our boat. This is a paradise for people who like to fish.
