The south facing house has 200 m2 with its terrace shaded by two old plane trees. Court approval garden and garage (2 cars) are available. On the ground floor, the living room of 60 m2 with its integrated kitchen opens onto the vineyards. It is complemented by a large entrance and a double bedroom with bathroom (Italian shower) and separate toilet. Upstairs: 3 large bedrooms (1 double bedroom and 2 twin bedrooms) and an open, spacious and bright office and a large library free access. A bathroom (double basin), the east window and separate toilet. Here you are in the heart of a region rich in culture and history: Avignon Festival Chorégies of Orange, Pont du Gard, Nimes and its Roman remains, Roque / Cèze, Chauvet Cave (Bridge cavern Arc), Duchy of Uzes, Chartreuse de Valbonne, crocodile Farm, Visiatome ... La maison est d'une propreté impeccable. Vous pourrez cuisiner comme chez vous grâce à tous les ustensiles mis à disposition. La terrasse est évidemment l'endroit le plus utilisé, protégée du soleil par les deux immenses platanes magnifiques. Nos jeûnes ont aussi apprécié la rivière à 10 minutes de marche ou à 3 minutes en voiture. D'autant que la rivière n'est pas submergée, on peut y trouver de temps en temps une famille mais bien souvent nous étions seuls pour nous baigner. Malgré une année où la sécheresse était très marquée nous avons trouvé plein d'endroits pour se baigner ou l'on a pas pied. Corinne nous a bien expliqué le fonctionnement de la maison ce qui nous a permis le jour où il y a eu un gros orage et que les plombs ont sautés de pouvoir résoudre le problème très rapidement. Un grand merci d'ailleurs à elle pour sa disponibilité et sa gentillesse. Non loin il faut aller visiter le Duché d'Uzès très jolie petite ville, le village de Goudargues, les cascades du sautadet ainsi que la Roque-sur-Cèze, vous avez également Vallon-Pont-d'Arc , quelques grottes, Avignon, orange etc..... Pour les festivités locales ne pas hésiter à se renseigner auprès de l'Office de tourisme de Bagnols-sur-Cèze. ##### Sophie B. In het dorp zelf is niets te beleven, maar precies daardoor is de rust een pluspunt. Ook zeer leuk en aangenaam terras onder de bomen, dit compenseert alvast de afwezigheid van de airco. Zeer mooie avonden beleefd op da terras. Ook zeer tof met dat riviertje zo dicht bij het huisje, compenseert zeker de afwezigheid van een zwembad.. De locatie is ook een goede uitvalsbasis naar veel bezienswaardigheden in de streek. We hebben veel kunnen bezoeken. Min punt was het vertrek. Toen we toekwamen werd ons gezegd zeer voorzichtig te zijn met de ijsblokkenmachine, daar die half en half defect was. Voor de zekerheid hadden we die niet gebruikt en zelf ijsblokjes gemaakt met zo’n frame die je kan vullen met water om zo in de diepvries te steken. Toen we de uitcheck deden ging de “controleur” direct naar de ijsblokmachine en zag dat er blokjes waren bijgekomen en begon ze ons gewoon uit te schelden, en dat ze de eigenaar ging verwittigen, …. We kregen er geen stok tussen om te zeggen dat we de machine niet gebruikt hadden. We zijn toen maar zo vertrokken met een zeer slecht gevoel. We hadden nochtans gans de woning opgekuist. (wat eigenlijk ook niet onze taak was). De mevr. heeft zich dan achteraf wel geëxcuseerd via sms en ons bedankt voor de perfecte opkuis, maar dit verzachte voor ons niet direct de grote wonde. Spijtig dat we na zo’n mooie week dan zo moeten vertrekken, de oorspronkelijke goesting om nog eens terug te gaan was op die manier wel snel verdwenen. ##### Koen V. Très bien située, nous avons pû, dans un rayon de 30 mn, faire de l’accrobranche, du canoë, visiter Gougarches et Montclus, ainsi que les grottes de la salamandre et admirer les cascades de Sauradet, toutes proches. Ayant séjourné une semaine de fortes chaleurs, nous avons apprécié les 2 platanes qui abritent la terrasse. Pour ces périodes, malheureusement appelées à se multiplier et à s’intensifier, quelques aménagements complémentaires seraient utiles, comme par exemple compléter le changement de fenêtres par des doubles vitrages et ajouter des volets aux quelques fenêtres qui en sont dépourvues (salle de bain du haut par exemple). Nous sommes venus pour profiter de la chaleur du sud. Pour visiter et pour recharger les batteries. L’accueil avec Corinne est super. C’est une dame super gentille et souriante. La maison est fonctionnelle, propre et agréable. La terrasse est le lieu le plus utilisé de la maison. Bien située et ombragée. Nous avons visités de nouveaux sites du coté ardéchois. La maison est agréable, spacieuse et bien équipée notamment avec des enfants; elle reste assez fraiche lors des jours chauds. La terrasse ombragée est appréciable, on est au calme au fond d'une impasse et entourés des vignes. La localisation permet d'être loin des foules, mais avec de nombreuses activités à proximité (mention spéciale pour la rivière accessible à pied, mais également accrobranche et pédalo vers Saint Martin d'Ardèche, grottes, pont du Gard, poney vers Goudargues, ...) The reception was a bit too overwhelming: a lot of, partly unnecessary information. The house itself and the cupboards suffer from some very badly closing doors, the same with the windows with the shutters. Most beds were moderate. It is an eight-person house, but there were no eight seats at the dining table. The village is beautiful: ydillic, in Romanesque style. You imagine yourself in the time of the Romans, especially in the evening! The shop unfortunately offers mainly bread to order. The departure was unfortunately unpleasant. We were accused of a number of things that previous tenants had left behind. Due to the stress we have forgotten some objects. ##### Gijsbert W. Nous avons apprécié la terrasse ombragée par deux magnifiques platanes. Attention aux moustiques. La rivière proche est idéale pour les petits, les ados qui ont adoré sauté à la Tarzan d’un arbre équipé de corde tout au bord ...et les grands pour la fraîcheur, l’ombre et la sérénité du lieu. Environnement très calme, propice au repos. Le village est un peu désert, il faut aller plus loin pour trouver un peu de vie, comme à Bagnos sur Cèze, Roque sur Cèze, Goudargues par exemple, villages plus animés et pittoresques. Les platanes donnant sur la terrasse permettent de ne pas souffrir lors des fortes chaleurs et plusieurs zones de baignade sont à proximité pour se rafraîchir. Les enfants ont adoré les nombreux jeux disponibles. Le village est extrêmement calme, trop peut être et nous avons apprécié le marché nocturne du jeudi soir qui permet de dîner local. Es hat eine wundervolle ,durch Plantanen beschattete Terasse mit Blick auf Weinberge und einen großen Schuppen mit Grillplatz. Das Dorf, indem das Haus liegt, wirkt zwar fast wie ausgestorben, nur einen kleinen Tante Emma Laden gibt es , aber wir haben dort einen sehr idyllischen Urlaub verbracht. Toll ist auch der Fluss in Fußnähe, sehr urig und romantisch. Wir würden auf alle Fälle gerne wieder kommen! Kleiner Tipp für Bucher, ohne ein paar Französich-Kenntnisse könnte es schwierig werden, da die Einführung ins Haus und auch die Korrespondenz mit dem Besitzer ausschließlich auf Französisch ist. ##### Eva B. La maison est probablement la plus belle maison de vacances que nous ayons jamais louée. C'est très spacieux et joliment décoré. Surtout au rez-de-chaussée, il fait toujours agréablement frais même à des températures extérieures élevées. La maison est au bout d'une petite route dans le village et est complètement calme. À distance de marche il y a un lieu de baignade pierreux près de la rivière, qui est très belle et promet un bain agréable (prendre des chaussures de bain à cause des pierres!). La plupart des attractions de la région sont facilement accessibles, à la fois la nature (comme l'Ardèche) et la culture (comme Orange et Pont du Gard). Le propriétaire est très gentil et serviable. Stayed 14 nights in Aug 2017 This review was submitted before 2018 and has not been verified. ### 8/10 Good #### Emma C. 12 Aug 2017 #### Maison très agréable à vivre et bien aménagée Nous avons passé une semaine à St Gervais, (3 adultes et 5 enfants). La maison est au bout d'une impasse, dans ce joli petit village, donc sans bruit et sans danger. Elle est vaste, bien aménagée, joliment décorée, nous sentons l'esprit "maison de famille" et tout y est comme à la maison, on ne manque de rien (y compris jeux, jouets, livres, dvd...). A proximité des villes de Bagnols/Cèze, Cornillon, La Roque/Cèze, Goudargues, et pas très loin de la jolie petite ville de Barjac. Également plusieurs plages, au bord de la Cèze où les enfants (et les parents!) ont adoré se baigner, surtout lors de cette semaine caniculaire ! Chaque plage est différente. Le contact avec les propriétaires et la famille sur place a été très agréable et sympathique. Si nous en avons l'occasion, nous reviendrons ! Encore Merci. ##### Emma C.
