Splendid contemporary villa of 180 m2 located 300 meters from the sea, in the town of Saint-Germain-sur-Ay plage, seaside resort on the west coast of Cotentin, facing the island of Jersey. We offer, for 1 to 10 people, this luxury residence located on a plot of 1500m2 enclosed and landscaped. The house, perfectly oriented, is decorated with the utmost care and equipped with high-end equipment. It thus includes: \- an entrance with cupboard; \- a large lounge / living room with three large bay windows overlooking the terrace and the landscaped garden. It is equipped with a corner sofa, three occasional armchairs, a coffee table, a piece of furniture with large screen TV and Bose stereo system, an XBOX game console, a table and chairs for 10 people, a low cabinet with dishes, glasses, etc; \- a fitted and equipped kitchen (fridge, dishwasher, oven, microwave, induction hob, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, dishes, etc.); \- a rear kitchen, also fully equipped for cooking and having a washing machine and dryer; \- a fully insulated garage with plenty of storage space and a freezer; \- five independent bedrooms: 2 on the ground floor with private bathroom for each of them (a 140 bed and one in 160) and 3 upstairs with large bathroom (a 160 bed, a sofa bed convertible in 160, 2 beds in 90, provision of a baby bed and a high chair, if necessary); \- a mezzanine with armchair and large screen TV; \- a large outdoor terrace with garden furniture, deckchairs and barbecue; \- a reserved and closed space for vehicles. Perfect for the beach, local restaurants, and local town. As it is the end of the season, not all amenities were open but there was definitely enough. The beach is amazing, you can walk for miles. This is a quiet location, and fairly hidden away so a car would be advised, but there is a bus stop just around the corner. We took our dog with us, and the garden was lovely and safe, no chance of her escaping. The bedrooms were spacious and clean, very comfortable beds. Everything supplied was of excellent quality. The house is very well looked after. The hosts were also amazing. We were met by the owners parents, who spoke very little English, probably about the same amount as our very poor French, however we got through with Google translate, had some fun with that, then they met us again on our departure. Die Fotos und die Beschreibung laut Anzeige entsprechen zu 100 % den Gegebenheiten vor Ort. Von den Eltern/Schwiegereltern der Eigentümer wurden wir sehr herzlich und freundlich empfangen. Bei einem kleineren Problem haben sie uns vor Ort umgehend und sehr nett geholfen. Der Strand ist weitläufig, schön und Mitte Juni auch nahezu menschenleer. Sehr nett zu beobachten waren die Austernfischer mit ihren Traktoren und Bötchen. Leider fuhren die Traktoten morgens auch deutlich hörbar am Haus vorbei. In unserer einen Urlaubswoche haben wir das Schloss in Pirou und die Abtei in Lessay besichtigt. Beides liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe. Vor allem das Schloss in Pirou hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Het huis was zeker naar wens, ligging hiervan wat minder (hadden we zelf ook even kunnen checken vooraf hoor). Het ligt vrij afgelegen als je alle bezienswaardigheden van Normandië wilt ontdekken, zeker (bijna allemaal) ruim een uur rijden. Eerste avond hadden we helaas niet genoeg warm water om allemaal (5p.) even te kunnen douche, dit werd gelukkig wel goed opgepakt door de verhuurder echter niet verholpen. Accueil des propriétaires très agréable et professionnel. Maison très propre, ustensiles cuisine bien suffisant, chambres agréables ainsi que les pièces de vie.
