For anyone looking to travel to central Paris and beyond but wanting to stay in a quieter place, Ibis Saint-Germain en Laye is the perfect place to stay and relax. It is 5min walk from RER(A) station that takes you into central Paris in 20mins. The hotel has its own car park including 2 EV charging spots which was very useful for us. A nice selection of buffet breakfast is served every morning from 6:30am until 10:00am. There’s a bar and activities for kids if you want to stay in the hotel. We were opposite the elevator and couldn’t hear a thing - very quiet. Bathroom was great. Only a 10 min walk to the station where it was a direct RER line into Paris, but lots of shops and cafes around so could also stay local. Only downside was there wasn’t a kettle/coffee machine in the room, however I think there was a sign in reception where you could ask for one if you wanted.
