It is surrounded by a natural, flowery and pleasant garden, with a view of the hilly countryside, a pond for fishing ... Ground floor: Fitted kitchen, dining area, lounge, 1 bedroom (2 twin 80x200 beds or 1 single large bed, your choice), 1 bedroom (1 160x200 bed), shower room (shower), separate WC. Heating with fuel in winter (Price of fuel during the day, counting of the litter consumed by meter counter). Ideally located 5 minutes from Vichy, in the quiet of the countryside, and about 30 km from the Gorges de la Sioule, the Bourbonnaise Mountain, the Besbre Valley and its castles. On site, hiking, fishing, watching wild animals and of course the owners' swimming pool at Château de Verseilles, available according to hours. Close to Vichy for all sports and leisure (10km). La Grange de Verseilles is located in a superb historic hamlet, with well, wood oven and 15th century castle. Exceptional location, wild and unspoiled nature. No pesticides or treatments because the Barn of Verseilles is surrounded by meadows in which cows graze their calves. No crops treated. The garden of the cottage is maintained "by hand", without any harmful products. The sheets are made of linen, a natural product. The point to mention is the restricted use of the pool. It is mentioned in the small print at the bottom of the listing but we feel it should have been made more obvious. That said Loys did advise that as they were out we could have full use on a couple of days. Really enjoyed our stay ##### Chris A. Le gîte est situé dans un petit hameau tranquille, au pied du magnifique château de Verseilles, à seulement 10 minutes du centre de Vichy. La vue sur la campagne est superbe, et le calme est garanti. Le jardin clos fut un atout pour notre chien ! Du gîte partent de nombreuses randonnées à travers la montagne bourbonnaise, ce fut très agréable de marcher sur ces chemins, à la découverte des nombreux étangs, et des points de vue superbes. La localisation de ce gîte nous a permis de découvrir la région sans parcourir de grandes distances. Au coeur des champs, notre séjour nous a permis de nous ressourcer et d'apprécier le calme de la campagne. La piscine est un atout supplémentaire pour contenter les grands et les petits.
