It had everything we needed and the surrounding area is beautiful. There is plenty to do and see in the vicinity. We would recommend Super Besse for outdoor activities and for climbing Puy de Sancy - the highest peak in the Massif Central. M. Dès notre arrivée nous avons profité d'un cadre très agréable, la maison est parfaite pour une famille de huit personnes (4 adultes et 4 enfants), au milieu de la nature nous avons profité d'un cadre magnifique, petit cours d'eau, champs de verdure, vue à 360° extraordinaire en s'aventurant à travers champs et une visite hors du commun chaque soir d'un petit renard, que de souvenirs innoubliables... Nous avons passé une magnifique semaine à la Pavé ! Le gîte est de très grande qualité : grand espace au rez de chaussée, cuisine très bien équipée, maison particulièrement bien isolée (donc fraîche dans l’après-midi durant la canicule), matelas confortables. Le seul bémol est le fait de devoir venir avec ses draps et serviettes…. Mais largement compensé par le calme exceptionnel, la beauté du site, le nombre de randonnées et de baignades possibles à moins de 40 mn de route, la gentillesse de m dif. Notre chien a adoré également l endroit. Seule chose à savoir c est qu il faut prendre la voiture pour faire les courses car il n y a pas de magasins tout près du gîte. Elle offre tout le confort nécessaire pour un séjour reposant avec une nature magnifique sur 360°. Un peu en retrait des zones touristiques (qui restent accessibles à moins de 30 mn) ce lieu est assez magique pour peindre, dessiner au son des clarines (les seules voisines sont des vaches paisibles), écrire à l'ombre des grands arbres, puis aller se balader sur le flanc sud du Sancy et diner sans façon dans le village de Saint-Donat. Une belle rencontre d'été que nous attendons de reproduire en hiver, pour essayer le grand poêle ! . ##### Anne P.
