This was a terrible stay for a 4 star hotel. They missed the most important part: respecting the privacy and safety.
We were there as part of a big group for a wedding. As soon as I arrived I asked for an iron. They gave it about couple hours later right before dinner time so I decided to go to dinner and then my dress for the wedding tomorrow. Before I leave, I told them I couldn’t find any hair conditioner or body lotion in the room, but I don’t want anybody in my room while I’m gone so please keep it at the reception and I’ll take it when I’m back. First of all, they never did. Second, they found out I’m out of the room and although I specifically asked them not to enter my room, they went in and looked around the room and took the iron while I was gone AND THEY NEVER GAVE IT TO ME so I had someone from Paris bring one.
I can understand that all of a sudden 80 people ask for an iron but it is UNACCEPTABLE to enter someone’s room without permission and take something specially when they said NO ENTRY. Worst than that was the personnel’s attitude; they were like, I didn’t do it, someone else did maybe we give it to you tomorrow.
I asked them, would you go to random people’s room and take the iron if I ask you for one, and they said. I. I don’t understand, how they thought is was okay to do it to me.
Beside that, only the first floor is renovated and the rest of the floors were not ( my friend’s room) had terrible smell and they didn’t fix it until the second night.

We stayed in a Superior room on 1st floor.
The room and bathroom are very spacious and we really enjoyed the stay.
The staff were very nice and particularly a young female receptionist was very charming.
Location was excellent, specially it is quite close to my family’s apartment. So I was quite familiar with the area but still some close-by restaurants were new for me.
Highly recommended!

It was decent for the price, good location, plenty of food variety. The a/c made it very comfortable as it was hotter than usual.
If you don’t like the rumble of the underground trains, get a higher floor booking. Not sure why I received a bottle of champagne but it was a nice surprise.

"Carpet in the room had many stains and the room a/c unit was noisy. Room color, especially doors and trims were uggly orange color, making the room look cheap. That said, the hotel had bike rooms where all materials were kept safe and staff was extremely nice and helpful."
