"We very much enjoyed our stay, taking time to visit Blaye, St Emilion and the city Bordeaux. Places we would happily visit again. We ate outside in the shade of the cherry tree each night. The well stocked DVD library meant our kids were never short of entertainment. The owner Herve gave very good advice on local amenities and places to eat. The property is in a quiet neighbourhood of the village and we enjoyed several walks to the nearby banks of the Dordogne river. We recommend this property...

"Nice house in a nice location. Just steps to the massive Sunday market. We enjoyed meeting owner Sylvie. We would recommend letting prospective visitors know about the narrow circular stairway up to living quarters. Some older or disabled folks (or anyone with large luggage) will find the climb a challenge. Also, bring your own toilet paper, hand soap and dish-washing soap."

"From first contact, Nathalie was extremely helpful, we got a great video for check in as we were arriving very late at night. The wine was great, we know, we drank enough of it!! The house was clean and spacious with lots of games, the swimming pool was perfect, we all loved the diving board. We nicknamed the pool hoover Janice, she was a bit annoying in the pool all the time but the pool was clean so worth it I suppose. "Private, quiet, unpretentious but lots of history around the property. We spent most of our time alternating between the lovely pool and the cool of the house. Big family meals and parties. Although there were 20 of us the house rarely seems full. Highly recommend."
