This hotel is a budget friendly and convenient option for access to the ferry terminal. The rooms are basic but clean. The beds very comfortable and shower powerful! We were welcomed by very friendly and helpful staff. The bar and restaurant had a great choice and was well priced. Again staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great location and beautiful property. They seemed understaffed and the staff was stressed and out of breath and dismissive. I had two children in strollers and requested a bottom floor, they asked if there was another accommodation I would like even though they were fully booked. There was children’s bikes advertised as an amenity which they did not have available and the man seemed very confused when asked about it. I would stay here again for the convenience and size of the rooms, but without the expectation that I could rely on high quality service or children’s amenities.

We had a fantastic stay. Room was spacious and comfy. Constructive critisim would be when cleaning don't forget the shower seals as this was quite grimey. An under counter fridge would have been a fantastic touch as we went to the shop each night to buy tea due to food intolerance. I did report the bathroom door also as being difficult to open and close. I did get stuck in there one evening so luckily husband was there to let me out lol.

Beautiful hotel, however staff need training in service and managing guests. The front desk called my room as a complaint was made about my children walking around by the guests below, at 10am. It is no one’s fault if floor boards creak and I think this is a reasonable time for people to walk around. I am not sure quite what the staff wanted us to do, other than be still. Disappointing service. Does not make this a ‘family-friendly’ hotel.

On the beach. Convenient large family suite
