Highly recommended
The Hotel del Prado is truly wonderful. The staff are helpful and kind, the hotel and rooms are comfortable and clean, and the hotel has a wonderful yard and an indoor lounge for relaxing. The location is convenient for activities in and around Puigcerda. And there is a full-service restaurant on-site. Enjoyed our stay there and highly recommend this hotel.

Nice garden, charming hotel, average stay.
We arrived after a long day on road bikes. Cold and tired we were were looking forward to relaxing in the featured jacuzzi. This was closed and staff were unable to heat sauna. Pool was freezing. Apart from this the stay was ok. Staff was friendly. Rooms clean. Covid-restricted breakfast unimpressive but ok.

Nice but noisy
I would like to stay at this hotel again, but on the far side from the road. The good: the pool and garden are lovely spots. The less good: during summer, there is no AC in the room so you have to open the windows. The traffic on the nearby road was so loud at times that I couldn’t hear somebody else in the room talking. At night the outside traffic made it difficult to sleep. I’d stay again if I knew I could sleep away from the buildings or anytime besides summer.

Weekend in Puigcerda
Nice hotel. Wifi was patchy and didn't work in our room. Initially put in twin room although we booked a double. We were moved quickly but to a smaller room with a shower in the tub that you couldn't get under to shower properly. Towels not changed each day and shower gel etc. not replenished over the three days stay. Food and service in the hotel restaurant was excellent though.

This hotel was a real find. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and roomy. The hotel garden, tho not big had plenty of tables and chairs. The restaurant staff were particularly helpful when explaining the menu and the food when it arrived was excellent. The hotel is a little out of the way, but if you take the time to walk into the centre, it is well worth the effort with lots of shops, bars and cafes.

Good stay.
We stayed for one night. We had a nice room. I guess my only issue was the timing of service. We tried to get drinks in the afternoon, and finally was successful, but to order anything else, took too much time. Dinner was great, but again it seemed to take awhile to get our bill.

Hotel was fine for a one night stay, but was on the edge of Puigcerda and about 30 minutes uphill walking to get into town. Not particularly convenient to stay there without a car.

Seul bémol, dommage que pour un hôtel situé à la "Frontière" Franco-Catalane que toutes les chambres ne soient pas équipées de TV avec chaînes Françaises et Canal sat. La chambre est confortable et très propre. Concernant le restaurant et connaissant bon nombre de tables dans le secteur, les 2 fourchettes au Michelin sont amplement méritées. Un service parfait,attentionné avec François, le Maître d'hôtel et une très bonne liaison avec la cuisine. Le Foie gras préparé par le Chef est exceptionnel et mérite une étoile Michelin sans oublier la fraîcheur du Turbot et l'excellente Morue (Bacalao) à l'encre de Calamars et petits légumes. De ce fait, je ne peux qu'inviter mes Amis à venir déguster cette cuisine.

Por el precio debe mejorar los desayunos
Pedimos una cama doble aunque nos subió el precio y acertamos porque nos encantó. Colchón, almohadas y sábanas muy cómodas. Calefacción correcta y sin problemas. El baño muy completo. Las vistas también nos gustaron aunque daban a la parte trasera del parking. A mejorar: por una parte los desayunos porque hay demasiado embutido y echamos en falta la cocina, por ejemplo para desayunar caliente, tortitas o tortilla a la francesa. También debería mejorar la luz de los pasillos porque también pueden ahorrar con sensores de movimiento. Y encontrar los interruptores en plena oscuridad por la noche fue complicado. Pero me gustó y lo recomendaría.

Mucho frio en la habitación por lo q pagamos
No funcionaba la calefaccion de la habitación, se iba la luz cada dos por tres y tampoco habían más mantas para taparnos. Avisamos en recepción y nos subieron un calefactor q hacia un ruido horroroso si lo ponías con un poco de fuerza. Poco consideracion por parte del hotel por lo pagamos y por una habitación en esas condiciones.

J'ai passé un super séjour, dans cet hôtel. A proximité des pistes de ski, avec un accueil chaleureux, les chambres sont relativement propre il y a aussi une baignoire et télé écran plat.

accueil tres espagnol (pour un francais) pas de sourire , pas d effort pour la langue alors qu on est a 1km de la France. probleme de clef. piscine froide. poils dans la salle de bain. chambre au dessus de la salle du petit dej donc entre 7h et 9h beaucoup de bruits de chaises et tables etc...

Séjour pour affaire. Tout est très propre bien entretenu, le jardin est très bien pour la détente autour d'un verre avec les tables en extérieur décor sympathique. La chambre est très confortable il y a tout le nécessaire, des prises près du lit et près du bureau pour recharger le matériel afin de travailler sans soucis. Très bel hôtel et le repas au restaurant super bon avec un excellent service.

Bien pero mejorable.
A la llegada nos tuvieron que cambiar de habitación pues a pesar de haber reservado una habitación doble para dos personas, su anotación indicaba reserva para uno sólo. En la primera noche apenas pudimos dormir ya que se celebraba una boda en la planta baja y estuvieron de discoteca y juerga hasta altas horas de la noche.

Fick ett rum som luktade rök!! utan att bli tillfrågad om vi var rökare. Vi fick byta men fick då inte lika fin utsikt. Såg fram emot att bada badkar på rummet med vattensprut-falskt- den var inte installerad. En av tjejerna i receptionen var inte trevlig. BAstu, badbassäng var inte igång- det stod det inget om i reklamen (avstäng under perioden ???- ??? tex).Killen som serverade var jättetrevlig och alla middagar goda men ibland torftiga ( stekt lax med pommefritte och en citronklyfta?? - ingen sås) Frukosten var torftig och inte som andra hotell där frukost ingick. Vi fick betala 12 euro och det var FÖR mycket. FAnns inge ägg alls tex?? Inget gott kaffe för en SVensk och få brödsorter att välja på! Nej för frukosten men visst blev man mätt men inte mer värt än 50 kr.
