"Hot tub inop, noisy"

"Check-in was awful. I booked a room and arrived a bit later. I arrived to a completely shut down lobby and a phone for “24/7 service” that was broken. I used my cellphone to call the property and the individual that answered informed me that the check-in desk was closed and they had no reservations for tonight. I informed him I did have a reservation and he told me it would be 20 minutes before he could get there. Meanwhile another person that had a reservation arrived, so it wasn’t only me needing to check-in, there was two of us. Several doors are broken in the facility, so while I was checking in, guests were banging on both sides of the building attempting to get in for 5+ minutes. When I finally arrived at my room, there were long black hairs all over the bathroom and the bed had the sparsest bedding I’ve ever seen in a hotel. I suppose this is what you get for staying at a more economical hotel, but this was far, far below what I expected. There are several hotels in the area around the same cost, I would highly recommend checking those ones out before ever staying here. Absolutely awful experience and the room hadn’t been non-refundable I would have cancelled and booked elsewhere."

"The front desk was helpful, Valerie especially helpful to us. The bed was super comfortable and the room was quiet and relaxing at night. The lobby was equipped with plenty of comfortable seating and snacks the start the day."

"This was a perfect place! Where do I start? Loved starting the day in the sauna, plus nice massage chair in the main bedroom. Great surprise w office in basement w standing desk and two monitors! Guest room w crib made it perfect for our granddaughter to come over and nap. We enjoyed wonderful lunches on the sunny deck in the very private, wooded back yard. It felt like being in a tree house. Play room w basketball shot, Pac-Man, and multi game table was fun entertainment. We never made it to the hot tub, but still a great feature. Host was very easy, fast and friendly to communicate with. Highly recommend if you’re looking in this area."

"We had a wonderful time at this cottage! It felt very private and is decorated with a lot of care. It was perfect for our family, especially having a washing machine and a full kitchen at our disposal. Amy was so thoughtful and stocked the fridge with eggs, yogurt, and even the PB&J we asked for. We loved being so close to the lake and felt completely tucked away in nature. The best part of the whole experience was making marshmallows on with our son by the cottage."
