"This is a very pretty hotel in a charming town. Make sure you get the water facing room with Balcony. Absolutely breathtaking views! But the most awesome part of this Hotel is : THE STAFF. I booked an ordinary room because it was cheaper, but when I walked in and saw the views I was missing, I asked if I could be upgraded to a room with the views and they moved me without charging anything. My wife left her Apple watch in the room after we checked out. The hotel didn't only email me that they found the Watch during room cleaning, but they literally shipped it to the United States WITHOUT CHARGING ME A DIME!! Just think about that!! I was willing to pay whatever it took them to ship the watch, but they didn't charge me anything!! Special Thanks to Ivan Lucic. You are a gentleman Sir! If you are passing by the area and looking to stay the night, do not think twice and book this gem of a place. Would stay here in a heartbeat if I am in the area again!"

"The hotel is well located in the center of everything. The included breakfast was extensive and excellent. Check in was easy, and I was easily able to add a person to an existing reservation. Parking, while not included was easy with parking garage next door. Nice views from restaurant."

"Alesund, Norway is absolutely picturesque! A Norwegian fairy tale of endless Fjords, majestic mountains and beauty beyond words. Our planned one night turned into three because we loved it so much! The scenic route from Geiranger to Trollstigen to see waterfalls, canyons, trolls & crystal clear glacier lakes is well worth the time—it’s a must to fully appreciate the beauty of the Fjords. Winding down at night with Sauna & Cold Plunging is just the Nordic way. Our stay at the Quality Hotel Waterfront Alesund was perfect. Great location, clean rooms, hospitable staff, excellent free full breakfast and I’ll say it again, every employee was SO nice, SO accommodating and that is not always the case these days. "

"Very nice location and views from the hotel. Cozy interior and clean room. The blinds was however not working properly, but it was possible to get it completely dark anyways. The beds were falling apart from each other and the top mattress sided down during night, which was a bit annoying. Otherwise, we had a really good stay. Cozy and nice breakfast! "

"This villa rental experience has been one of the best ever for several reasons, and we're been renting villas for years worldwide.First is the huge, tranquil view, one of the best fjord-side views in all of Norway. The house has a large wraparound terrace from which the entire view envelops you in a 180 degree sweep. Before you, across the fjord are the Sunnmore Alps, one of Norway's premiere mountain climbing and hiking areas, just a 7 minute ferry ride away.Second, the little village of Saebo and its environs have limited mass tourism and retain Norway's pastoral rural character that elsewhere has been long overrun by the cruise ship crowds.Third is the house, a large, solidly built and well maintained and equipped traditional structure. The large open plan main floor is especially attractive, with the view surrounding you through the wrap-around widows.And last, but not least is Per Ove, the house's owner, who is one of the most responsive and accommodating hosts without being intrusive we've encountered.
