The Garden Cottage House with stunning large pool/jacuzzi, baby grand piano

From this centrally located country home and garden, you can unwind and enjoy small family get-togethers. You will find surprises at every turn as it is entirely equipped with every possible amenity that one could hope for and more.
The gorgeous park-sized pool and spa is superb. The jacuzzi is large enough for small children to swim! The pool is surrounded by beautiful landscaping, jasmine vines, and baby fruit trees. The heating of the jacuzzi and/or pool is not included in the base price but varies by season. Please ask for details. A BBQ is available if you are more of an outdoor gourmet! Enjoy the garden views of the sunset poolside or make s’mores at the fire pit. There is a children's playground outdoors with a cozy toddler swing, regular swing and a trapeze bar. There is plenty of space indoors for play and activities. Games, cards, juggling, puzzles for all ages, an oversized smart t.v., a large array of books, cookbooks, etc... Adults and supervised children can play piano on the stunning electric baby grand piano. This property feels like a private oasis in the middle of the city.
A private gate encloses the front yard at night and the large back yard is completely enclosed . An outdoor Ring/Doorbell camera faces the entrance/entry pathway for extra security. A smart lock allows you to have your own personal entry code. All night "partying" and in/out guests will be asked to leave. We welcome caring folks to enjoy the special beauty of this home and the stunning backyard with a diverse array of flora and fauna. Special events by permission only with possible event fee. Ask about non-shedding tiny pets with pet fee by permission on occasion. No allergens may be introduced. Thank you.

This lovely property exceeded all of our expectations! The house was beautifully furnished with so many thoughtful touches that made our stay truly exceptional. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could have needed to cook meals, and the abundance of games, toys, and items for babies/children was incredible. The pool was sparkling clean and the grounds were impeccably maintained.But what really made this stay so wonderful was the warm and welcoming hosts. They were a pleasure to interact with and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible. This was hands down the best rental we've ever stayed in, and we can't wait to come back.

Amazing Dog Friendly Home Away from Home

The property and has was even more amazing in person! Large fully fenced yard, lawn area, pool, and hot tub. On the same property as the owners but still secluded enough that you don’t feel like you’re a bother to anyone. Easy parking, full amenities throughout the house, cannot wait to stay again!

This place is amazing. Loved our stay. In town to give my daughter a baby shower and this place was perfect. Wish it had been warm enough to enjoy the pool. The backyard is huge and beautiful. The beds were very comfy.

Great Short Stay

We travelled to Folsom for a short trip to enjoy some of the local museums and activities before school started again. The pool was wonderful after the hot summer days and the house is beautiful. Our 6 and 2 year old were so excited when they discovered the toys, games, and kids books. We all had an amazing stay and would love to stay again next time we are in Folsom.

From check in to check out it was the best experience. The house is super clean, with everything you could possibly need on vacation. The back yard is amazing with all of the fruit trees. It was so nice at the end of the day to swim in the crystal clear pool. I did meet the host they were very friendly and polite. If I'm back in the area again, this is where I would want to stay.

Relaxing Home with Convenient Location

House was as described and as shown in the photos. It was very relaxing and enjoyable, and had great books if you are a reader. It’s in a super accessible location and that was great for us. We needed to be out and about each day driving to other parts of the northeastern Sacramento County area. Overall, we were very happy with this home which was very clean and had a well stocked kitchen.

Citrus Heights Cottage

Everything about this property is great, they have thought of everything. Wonderful AC, important in the Sac area. Fully equipped kitchen. Really clean. Comfortable beds. The pool is giant and so is the hot tub, also both very clean and such a treat for the Sacramento heat. It was very quiet. I felt safe, important for a person traveling alone. I would stay again.

A Real Gem!

This property has everything and more! The house was spotless, had everything we could’ve asked for and more for our family and our baby. I cannot say enough about this VRBO. This place has every amenity. It also had a fully stocked kitchen so we were able to save of take out. Even the parking was a dream! The pool was amazing, the house is a place we will definitely stay again. Ginger, one of the owners, was so kind and helpful. Her husband was also friendly and helpful. Attention was given to anything we needed. If you have a chance to stay here, take it!

Absolutely the Best!

The cottage was wonderfully decorated, the beds comfortable and the grounds fantastic. We had a fun time sitting around the pool in the sun while our dinner cooked on the outside grill. When the rainy weather drove us inside, the huge tv and cozy family room was great. Ginger and Joe were terrific hosts that were so quick to respond to any communications. They gave great directions to get to the cottage. Lots of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Even found a Leatherby's Ice Cream shop just down the street which my husband loved!!!!
