check in was bizarre as they use a kiosk with cameras and person remotely getting info and checking in. i’m guessing it’s designed for international travelers since you could chose different languages. the hotel itself isn’t bad but in hallways the doors make it look like a former institution or something. the room with king was actually decent but looked newly renovated like an hgtv hotel makeover show. the toilet shower area was the most spacious of the hotels i stayed in recently with the shower controls being so much better. the area is a bit sketchy as there were some homeless people around. the good thing was a black bear diner is right across the parking lot.

I didn't like checking in at a kiosk. Very impersonal. The room looked like it was under construction. Walls are paper-thin and traffic noise was very loud.

It was all great! Put three stars for staff and service because I would’ve preferred an actual human being at the counter to attend someone late at night or in general. It’s hard to hear the machine and it’s an odd feature, why not just have the person there? But all in all well.

The place was clean, self-check in with virtual staff service was the most complicated thing. Other critical thing is that there was noticeable criminal with ankle bracelet have been in that hotel for the last whole month, not only that he invited homeless guy over to share some hotel's morning breakfast.

It was late when we arrived and the door was locked, which is to be expected. We rang the doorbell and called the front desk for about 30 minutes before I contacted Expedia to help me figure out what to do. Expedia was able to contact them to open the door. I’m not pleased that I had to wait outside for half an hour, and not be able to contact the hotel. Expedia was a huge life saver. Hotel was clean, but because of no service at front desk, I will not stay here again.

There is no elevators. The person I spoke to is via the kiosk and not live in person. My room was supposed to have been a non-smoking room but you could smell cigarette smoke upon entering the room.

Weird check-in process. As soon as we entered the lobby, there was a sign directing us to a nearby video display. Immediately, a very pleasant woman asked how she could help us. She did a very competent job of handling our check-in and the video kiosk issues our room keys. It was disappointing as we missed the casual interaction that we usually enjoy regarding dining choices and other local attractions. It was totally lacking in hospitality. Also, the room was kind of dingy. Some fresh paint would have helped. The breakfast choices were extremely limited. Also, the surrounding area was run down. Sadly, there was a homeless guy sleeping on the parking lot pavement.

Very disappointing stay. Room had seating with large stains, shower very noisy, breakfast offerings were limited and poor quality. You check in with a tv face in a kiosk. After three tries could not get two room keys that both worked. Only one worked each time. There is no staff if you need help with anything.

Nice facility ( wasn’t sure after reading about the video/ FaceTime type check in, but it went very smoothly!) Continental breakfast was fine, coffee very acceptable! Only strange thing was housekeeping knocking on our door and trying to come in the room ( I had the chain lock!) At 8:05 am? Room was very nice, all obviously remodeled and clean and comfortable. Blackout curtains and the Temperature settings were perfect. Will stay there again! O
