This efficiency apartment in a converted house on a quiet street turned out to be ideal - it’s been freshly renovated and had everything we needed to be able to make meals for ourselves and enjoy both the area and some air conditioned downtime when we wanted that! The location is super convenient for anything you might want to do - we ended up in Portland occasionally, out at the East Point Sanctuary, and further south to the Seaside Trolley Museum. We didn’t make it to some of the other convenient destinations on this trip, but it would be easy to visit Funtown/Splashtown, Aquaboggan, and of course Okd Orchard Beach as well. The owner of the property had some of the clearest and most helpful instructions and guidance I’ve seen in a VRBO and he was super helpful and communicative both before and during our visit.
