Nice hotel. If you come with a lot of luggage and children, it may be a turn off as the campus is spread out. You have to take fairly longer walks to get to elevators then to walk to your specific room. Outside of that, worth the stay!

Iconic old hotel

Staff was excellent, the breakfast was good. But unfortunately, there was cockroaches in our room and we had to switch rooms at 12:45 AM. I was grossed out and didn’t get but two hours of sleep even after we switch rooms because I was so afraid that there was gonna be some in the new room. I had a long day after cancer treatment in San Francisco. I just wanted to come to a nice clean room to get some rest before our 4 Hour Drive back home and that did not happen. I will not be coming back.

Beautiful hotel in Lafayette California. Bed was comfortable and the hotel is very nice. Be careful where they assign your room. Our room overlooked the courtyard, windows are thin, the celebration of life event was in the courtyard during the day and did not cause any disruption. The wedding reception in the ball room next to the courtyard was loud with a terrible drummer that was grueling to hear for 2 hours 8p-10:00p. Ballroom walls thin. Staff made you feel guilty for complaining about the noise. Front desk staff offered to move us to the doldrums back of the hotel. Also, when checking in said you booked through Expedia, let’s see what we have available. Felt second rate and the noise verified it. For 300.00 per night, they could have done better.

The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, room was good. Breakfast was good if you need something quick. Could not turn the shower on without getting a face full of cold water do to the weird glass partition. It's loud! You can hear everyone in the halls, if you are staying on the water side you hear trumpets at 7:50am every morning.
