Hotel Naranjo De Bulnes
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is spotlessly clean and provides daily housekeeping. It's in a perfect location to walk to all the local shops bars and restaurants and has its own car park. Really nice staff who are super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was OK but overpriced at €11, when coffee and a croissant were €4 in a local cafe. The rooms have ceiling fans which are good but they cannot be used overnight as activated by the lights. Lack of air-con was the only thing missing from a lovely little hotel in a great town."

"We stayed here one night before starting a 3-day trek in Picos de Europa. The hotel was charming, clean and comfortable, the staff was really helpful, and there was free parking across the street where we were able to leave our car during our trek. Las Arenas is a cute mountain town, and everything was easily walkable, including an excellent restaurant across the street, and a bus we took to Sotres for the start of our hike."

"The hotel has great views and sits high above the valley floor. Check-in was a breeze and done online. Room keys were in a lockbox that getting settled quick and easy. We had to depart the second morning before breakfast but they made a plate for us to take with us, super staff. Overall a great experience."

"Me gustó el hotel. El cuarto era grande y comodo. Buenas camas, buen baño. El personal nos recibió muy bien. Pero…. En la noche, ya entrada la madrugada llegaron otros huéspedes al mismo piso. Debian tener dos o tres cuartos. Pero se pasaron por todo el pasillo entre risa y risa, hablando altisimo, corriendo y lo peor, tocando las puertas de los de más huespedes, incluyendo la nuestra. Les escribi pidiendo ayuda al hotel y no hubo respuesta. Esos huespedes hicieron escandalo toda la madrugada y nadie del personal llegó. En fin, no dormimos ni con tapones en los oídos."

"Las Arenas proved to be the ideal location for us to explore Picos de Europa National Park. This hotel is also great for leaving the car parked and walking into the village for an evening meal and a drink at the end of the day. Plenty of parking spaces around the hotel and a little cafe 2 minutes down the road for our breakfast. Very pleased with our stay, we made a good choice."

"Lovely place to stay. A newly built house sympathetic to the traditional local style. Excellent facilities with each bedroom (very comfy beds) having ensuite bathrooms. Great kitchen and open living space with a large woodburner. TV a little small for us and the dvd could be better but I am fussy. Lots of good movies to watch and family games to play. Views and landscape really beautiful and loads of hikes which we loved. The access isn't particularly easy for a large car which we have but plenty of spaces to park. It's an expensive place to stay but you get what you pay for. The host Anna is extremely responsive and I highly recommend staying there. I arrived exhausted and left totally chilled out. Beautiful part of Spain and so much to do and explore. "
