About this property
Entire place
You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.
MCR is a property that features seclusion and privacy that is hard to find.
Deep in the Wiscoy valley you'll enjoy peace and quiet in nature. Even escape your cell phone as it won’t ring here. Wi-Fi is available at the lodge, but otherwise your out of service unless you take the trail to the top. Down here you’ll truly escape the pressures of mainstream life - off the grid!
The lodge is well furnished with comfy beds, large couches and a fully equipped kitchen. The patio features both a Weber Charcoal and Gas Grill ready for your BBQ expertise. A fantastic outdoor fire pit and supplied wood is just the start for an evening of s’mores and stories. The lodge is full of games and activities for a rainy day too, including a full size pool table.
You will have access to 1500 acres ( yes 1500!!!) for hiking, fishing, skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, nature, peace & quiet. Stroll along the winding creek or climb the ridge road to the lookout. The trails are well maintained, mowed and clearly marked. The variety allows for easy walks to excursions with significant elevation changes. Take a 1, 3, 5, 10 or even a 20 mile trip.
This is truly a very unique place and will give you lasting memories. If you hit the season right, you will see the most spectacular firefly display, blue birds by the 1000's or an abundance of other wildlife as they migrate through. The owner holds this beautiful place as a hunting lodge and you'll see more wild deer than you've ever seen anywhere. While he wants to share this getaway... he wants that Big Buck for himself. Strictly no deer or any hunting allowed. If you get a chance to see a big one – let us know and please send pictures!
I'm sure you will have a great time!

The lodge was clean, and very comfortable for 4 couples. Everything was well thought out. We enjoyed the pool table, and the large dining room table. And we loved the peaceful and beautiful setting. We would certainly recommend this place for others to come and enjoy.
We stayed with our families which included babies teenagers adults and grandpa. Funniest space and lots of things to do. It was exactly what we were looking for and more. This place has everything you need for a great place to stay.
This property was amazing a lot of room for people to be able to not step on top of each other. Beds were comfortable a lot of fun things to do as far as games pool table beautiful landscape, beautiful area. I totally recommend.
Amazing secluded huge cabin in the middle of the woods. Plenty of space for everyone. Very clean and well stocked. This place makes a wonderful family get together retreat.
Money Creek Ranch is simply amazing. The house and property were absolutely incredible for our family to check out and be out in nature. The house is the most well equipped VRBO we’ve stayed in. Lots for the kids to do in the house, and seemingly endless trails to explore outside. We’ll definitely be back.
Our family has stayed at the Money Creek Ranch property the past two Labor Day weekends. The space works perfectly for our family of grown children and grandchildren. Great proximity for access to lanesboro and other fly fishing areas. Amy is responsive and very easy to access ! Will stay again !
This property has everything plus more, than what we asked for. Amy was super helpful with every question that I had. The place itself was great and had a lot of activities provided. I would highly recommended this place for anyone wii wants a getaway. The secluded property was great and we enjoyed the quiet of nature.
The lodge is amazing! Was not expecting it to be so spacious. More than enough room for our party of 10. The outdoor areas were perfect for Cornhole, Ladder golf and the occasional game of Beer Darts. Amy is a great host, and wish we could've met her. We will definitely be going back.
This location was incredibly aesthetic and peaceful. I was impressed to see baskets of snacks, water, and a few items (like bug spray) that we may have needed in case we forgot our own.
The lodge itself is very spacious, clean, and was perfect for our occasion. The firepit had plenty of chairs, wood, etc.
I am very pleased to have stayed at MCR and would definitely visit again. I highly recommend anyone with a larger group (8+) to consider staying here.
This is our third stay at Money Creek Ranch and we will be back! Amy is THE BEST attentive host that thinks of all the details to make our stay pleasant. We all have our favorite spot here- a young one on the swing, a family member in the hammock, someone reading on the deck, and me around the fire pit star gazing between the bluffs. This is hands down the best place for gatherings, nature viewing, and relaxing. The lodge has enough room for everyone. Not to mention you are close enough to town to catch a scoop of ice cream!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about the ranch!!! So awesome!!
To say it was spacious is an absolute understatement!
And it was Completely spotless!!
My crew and I had so much fun there with the pool table and any number of games available!!
And communication with the host was seamless and always pleasant!!!
We loved it!!!
The pictures don't do this place justice, it is a huge space and in immaculate condition. Amy, the host, left us everything we could ever need as far as kitchen, toiletries, etc. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces couldn't have been better. The urinal was a great touch! :)
Had a great time staying here for my bachelor party. Plenty of space inside and outside to entertain, and plenty options of things to do are provided if needed. Check-in and check-out process was simple and highly recommended staying here when looking to enjoy the nature!
This place is absolutely gorgeous! Very accommodating, fun little surrounding towns and tons of trails! Highly recommend for large families! The layout has great space!
Came for a weekend away with family and this place was perfect, everyone absolutely loved it! Great indoor space for groups to actually be together to cook, eat and hang out. Great outdoor space as well. Any was very responsive before, during and after our stay.
This is the second time we've stayed here, and I cannot say enough on how much I LOVE this property! It's spacious, inviting, clean, and I love the fact that at any given moment, you can see all types of wildlife!!!Plus, I love that there are plenty of games available! We will be back again for The Filthy 50 gravel race...guaranteed!And communication is always fast, accurate, and pleasant!!!
We had an awesome time at MCR! It was very clean, secluded and cool place to unwind off the beaten path. Amy was a conscientious host who made our stay a breeze. We'll be back to visit MCR soon!
Very remote and secluded location for total privacy. We enjoyed the fire pit, cornhole, giant Jenga, pool table, and outdoor exploring. It was perfect for our family group of 9 ranging in ages from 12-80.The property is about equal distance from Rushford and Houston so we explored both communities as well as visiting Lanesboro during Buffalo Bill Days. Bowling in Rushford was a family favorite! The bowling alley also has good, reasonably priced food.Everything we needed was at the property. We did bring our own marshmallow sticks for the fire pit. If you're looking for a relaxing, unplugged time (no cell service) in nature, this is the perfect location!
I absolutely love this place so much I stayed there twice this year. Once during the spring and again during the fall. Both were absolutely beautiful times and never wanted to go home. The Host is always welcoming and does everything to make sure you’re comfortable and enjoy your stay.
