This hotel is a gem. Located at a great location downtown I really enjoyed my stay. The room and breakfast were fantastic and the staff extremely friendly. A place I will stay again when I go back to Lyon.

Great location, generously proportioned room and especially nice bathroom, some oddities like needing the room key to turn on the lights and no way to signal to the maid NOT to come in yet. Bed was actually too firm (and we like firm beds). We needed to do some laundry and were surprised that we were kind of on our own for that--so overall, very sleek place with some quirks.

Nice hotel but apart from one person no one else speaks English. And the restaurant/bar staff are the most unpleasant persons I have ever seen in any hotels.

The shower is a tub rather than a stall. The Carlton should install a handle in the wall of the tub enclosure to aid stepping in and out of the tub, which is raised a bit above the floor. I expect that elderly have difficulty, and it is a safety issue.

Outstanding in every way. Modern new hotel with gracious old world service. Large comfortable rooms with super comfy beds. Gorgeous bathrooms. Taxi needed to get to many areas of the city. Just around the corner from the Roman ruins. City views are spectacular.
