"Good location, very modern building inside and out. Staff was friendly and patiently answered all of our questions. Very nice room. Even had a chef making scrambled eggs and bacon vs the usual scrambled eggs in a warming pan found in other hotels."
"The clerk was very helpful since my reservation was lost in cyberspace. She took all my info and spoke with the manager and said they'd sort it out, and I was given a room with no further delay. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable, but the shower was terrible. Water pressure was barely more than a trickle and it oscillated unexpected from tepid to scalding without any reason. No HVAC controls in the room, though I will admit was was comfortable enough temperature wise.
The location is the real rub. The east end of Idaho Street seems to be a popular place for locals in obnoxiously loud diesel pickups to accelerate aggressively for no conceivable reason. This older building with its dated aluminum single pane windows offered no defense against this nonsense, and our sleep was routinely disturbed till at least midnight. I can't blame this on thr property, really, but perhaps an upgrade to the windows in the rooms near the street or sound deadening curtains are in order."
"Room was great, newly remodeled and tv and fridge worked well as did the coffee maker. Newly done so there were a couple little Knick knacky stuff they could have double checked on their punch list. Sat in the bed and was kind of thinking it was going to be a rough night. Bed was actually really comfortable.
Lady at the front desk was so-so, nice, but a little annoyed that I was asking some questions. Still service was good.
Breakfast was okay, not great but okay.
The area is nice, good location and a lot of things that are within walking distance and if you feel like driving, it’s pretty central"
"We really enjoyed our stay at this motel. What stood out most was how VERY quiet it was, especially being in “downtown” Elko. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and having a refrigerator and microwave in the room was very convenient. The A/C worked great and was not overly loud, which made the stay even more comfortable.
The breakfast was decent and included fresh coffee, fruit, yogurt, juice, muffins, toast, oatmeal with milk, breakfast sandwiches, and waffles you could make yourself.
Overall, for the price and location, this is a great motel to stay at. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"
"The room and property were fine for the most part. It was clean and decently maintained. The entire room feels compressed. Two items that stood out to improve: at night the light form the front of the property penetrates into the room making it bright at night; and the noise from the upper floor is significant - every movement or action from upstairs is heard as though there is nothing at all to absorb sound. So, its frustrating being awoken throughout the night."
You can spend an afternoon browsing the exhibits at Elko Area Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center during your trip to Elko. Make time to visit the area's casinos or simply enjoy its cosy cafes.
