Flight landed early but it took a while to disembark as they had changed the gate at Amman so we had to wait for busses to arrive.

Full A321 with very comfortable 32” pitch seating in a brightly decorated cabin. Despite passing through three security checks in Cairo’s Terminal 2, our bags were still searched by casually-dressed airline security staff (assuming they were not ground engineers since they wore no identification) immediately before entering the aircraft so this slowed the boarding process down a little. With no announcements from the flight deck (maybe this is a sign of the future with fully automated aircraft and no pilots), the professionally behaved cabin crew lacked any form of warmth or rapport (a great welcome to Jordan, I don’t think) although they did distribute snack boxes containing a tasty and substantial cheese or chicken salad baguette, orange juice, bottled water, soft cookie and hand sanitiser – a very effective and appreciated meal service for the short one hour flight. The flight was on time.
