Royal Hampshire County Hospital - Winchester Maternity

A beautiful grade 1 listed country house, set in it's own extensive grounds. The hotel offered fantastic value, two nights for two with breakfast £170. The hotel appears to have been redecorated recently, everything in the bedrooms and public rooms being fresh and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a buffet English style, with a few continental style things available. My only critisism is that there wasn't a desk to work on in the room , there were no drawers to place clothing in and the dinner menu was a little limited but overall an excellent hotel offering good value along with a certain style.

Excellent location, lovely grounds at rear with direct access to the forest. Downstairs corridor to room clearly being refurbished but general public area good. Would definitely stay again.

Room 29 again, A nice quite room, slept well. Followed by a good breakfast.
