The accommodation comprises a cosy bedroom nestling under the rock, offering an intimate and singular atmosphere, above which you'll find the welcoming living room with a sofa bed, ideal for comfortably sleeping up to four people. The bathroom has a bath for relaxing after a day's sightseeing. The lounge opens onto a pleasant private terrace, a real asset in the heart of the city, where you can enjoy your meals or a coffee in peace and quiet. Practical and well thought-out, the flat has everything you need for an independent stay: fully equipped kitchen, storage space, linen provided and Wi-Fi connection. This place of character, between stone and light, promises you an unforgettable stay in one of Normandy's most emblematic districts. Let yourself be seduced by the soul of old Rouen and the unique charm of this unusual flat. Bed linen and towels are provided for your comfort. No private parking is available with the accommodation. However, you will be able to park your vehicle in the streets around the accommodation according to the rates in force in the town or in the covered pay car park of the Vieux-Marché located just opposite your flat. The accommodation is managed by the ArchiDuchesse concierge service, available 7 days a week from 10am to 12.30pm and from 2pm to 9pm. We thank you for taking care of the accommodation, respecting the premises and the neighbours. It was here that Joan of Arc was burnt alive in 1431, an event that left its mark on French history. With its cobbled streets, picturesque atmosphere and historical memorabilia, the Place du Vieux-Marché is a must-see for anyone visiting Rouen. \## Transit The location of the flat means you can visit the city of Rouen and its most important monuments on foot. There are plenty of car parks nearby, with the two closest (Parking du Vieux Marché and Parking de la Pucelle) a 2-minute walk away. For those wishing to explore the surrounding area, bus and metro stations are nearby. If you're travelling by train, the station is a 10-minute walk away. Pay parking spaces are available in the Vieux Marché underground car park for added security. \## Notes Arrivals are autonomous for greater flexibility. Check-in time is from 16:00 and check-out time is no later than 11:00. The accommodation is managed by the ArchiDuchesse concierge service, available 7 days a week (from 10am to 9pm). In the house, all our guests receive household linen, basic necessities for the first day (shampoo, shower gel, hand gel, toilet paper, etc.) as well as a large towel per person, together with tea towels and a bath mat per bathroom. A welcome kit with kitchen bin bag, bathroom bin bag, sponge and dishwasher liquid is provided free of charge on arrival for the duration of your stay. We are committed to providing a pleasant experience, however, please note that we are not a hotel service. Any mid-stay cleaning, linen/towel freshening, replenishment of essentials or deliveries can be arranged on request at an additional cost. When you confirm your stay, you will receive the ArchiDuchesse tourist booklet, our vouchers with promotional codes for our partners of choice and the arrival instructions for your accommodation. The Cour de l'Archiduchesse offers a range of services to make your stay as pleasant as possible: baby equipment hire, luggage storage, shuttle service, baby-sitting, gourmet boxes, requests for sightseeing tours, creation of events (wedding proposals, birthdays, room themes, etc.) and much more! Das Schlafzimmer im Keller ist wundervoll, kühl, dunkel und die Matratzen sehr angenehm. Die Treppe ist etwas abgetreten und man kann sehr schnell ins Rutschen kommen, das Gepäck haben wir oben gelassen. Die Schlafcouch im sehr kleinen Wohnzimmer (Durchgangszimmer) war für die beiden Teenager ok, für Erwachsene könnte es zu eng/ unangenehm sein. Ansonsten hat die Wohnung eine tolle, zentrale Lage und es ist dennoch ruhig. ##### Marco L. Cette location n'est tout simplement pas aux normes pour être louer… Une chambre dans un sous sol, sous couvert d'être un "nid charmant", il s'agit simplement d'une cave, avec un taux d'humidité à 90% (mais vous recevrez des messages chaque jour pour vous rappeler comment utiliser le déshumidificateur). La literie était humide, les murs avec des gouttes d'eau et des traces d'infiltrations (j'ai envoyé les photos à Booking qui m'a remboursé une partie du séjour). Le ménage n'avait pas été fait, le sol était recouvert de poussières et de miettes (de même que le canapé, photo envoyée également au site). La conciergerie en charge mène ensuite en bateau, pour être sûr de ne pas avoir à annuler le séjour, et nous a envoyé une personne en charge du ménage l'avant dernier jour (hyper utile !). Communication zéro, ménage à revoir, et un logement qui n'est pas aux normes (tout est bizarrement agencé pour se faire passer pour une location, mais c'est du bricolage). Aussi ! la boîte à clé n'est pas à la bonne porte, vous pouvez chercher longtemps car le numéro d'aide ne répond pas ! Pratique quand on attend pendant 40min devant l'immeuble... ##### Pia C.
