Just a few steps from the famous Place du Vieux Marché, you can take full advantage of Rouen's restaurants and local entertainment. A parking space is available for free, but please note that it is quite narrow and better suited for small vehicles. This attractive F3 has a pleasant living room, a fully fitted and equipped open-plan kitchen, two bedrooms with double beds and a shower room. The WC is separate for added privacy. In the living room, relax with the sofa and television. There is also a dining table with 4 chairs. The fully-equipped kitchen opens onto the living room. You'll be able to prepare delicious meals thanks to its many facilities, including induction hobs, host, microwave oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine and a wide selection of kitchen utensils. A washing machine is available in the bathroom. In the bedroom, you'll find double beds (140x200cm) and occasional consoles for working. Built-in wardrobes are available for storing your clothes. Rare for short-term rentals, you'll love this pretty pied-à-terre that can accommodate up to 4 guests, with parking space! Bed linen and towels are provided for your comfort. Please note that a private parking space is included in the rental price. History The Vieux-Marché is particularly famous for its connection with Joan of Arc. It was here, in 1431, that the famous French heroine was sentenced to death and burnt alive after her trial. A small symbolic pyre marks the exact spot where this tragic event took place. This square therefore embodies a large part of France's and Rouen's collective memory. 2\. Place du Vieux-Marché The Place du Vieux-Marché is a focal point for life and meetings in Rouen. Today, it is surrounded by half-timbered buildings typical of Normandy, giving the area a unique medieval atmosphere. Public transport (bus and metro) Rouen is served by a bus and metro network operated by the Astuce company. Rouen metro: This is actually a tramway, known as a light metro, which crosses the city. There are two lines (T1 and T2) that pass close to the city centre, with stations such as Théâtre des Arts and Palais de Justice, both of which are around 5 to 10 minutes' walk from the Gros-Horloge. Bus: Several bus routes serve the centre of Rouen. Stops close to the Gros-Horloge include Théâtre des Arts or Place du Vieux-Marché, which are served by numerous bus lines, such as F1, F2, and 11. 2\. L’appartement est propre, bien équipé et calme. Cependant, il est difficile d’ouvrir et de fermer la porte d’entrée avec la clé… de même pour le verrou des toilettes. Lors de notre arrivée, il n’y avait plus de boîte à clés pour ouvrir le portail et garer la voiture dans la cour de l’immeuble. Nous avons dû aller à l’agence qui était encore ouverte et proche du logement par chance. Nous n’avions pas eu l’information comme quoi la ville avait retiré toutes les boites à clés et que nous avions besoin d’un badge pour ouvrir. Dans l’ensemble, nous avons passé un séjour agréable. La location est l’atout principal de ce logement puisqu’il est situé près de tous les endroits touristiques de la ville et des boutiques. ##### Clara L. L’appartement était dans un état de propreté pitoyable, je n’ai jamais vu un endroit aussi sale de ma vie , les wc portaient les traces des derniers voyageurs, les verres sales collaient dans les placards, le sol était recouvert de poils , cheveux , minons , les lits faits à la va-vite…. La conciergerie avec qui je suis rentrée en contact immédiatement après notre arrivée s’est tout juste excusée . Je plains le propriétaire qui a donné son appartement à la conciergerie ArchiDuchesse, qui visiblement ne fait pas son travail. ##### Estelle C.
