The rental experience was fantastic!

Our first stay at the Guest House at Graceland was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by everything this hotel has to offer. The amenities are outstanding, with something for everyone to enjoy. We loved the live music, the variety of dining options, the theater showing Elvis movies, and the beautiful pool. One of our favorite touches was the complimentary PB&J sandwiches at 9:00 p.m.—such a fun and unexpected treat! Best of all, you’re just a short walk from Elvis Presley’s home, making it the perfect place to stay when visiting Graceland. The entire property is beautiful, clean, and welcoming, and the staff made us feel right at home. We can’t recommend The Guest House at Graceland enough and are already looking forward to our next visit!

I ended up leaving this hotel just a few hours into my stay because the experience was so disappointing. I arrived late at night to a completely dark lobby with very few lights on, which immediately felt unwelcoming and unsafe. The front desk associate seemed uninterested, lacked professionalism, and treated my concerns as more of an inconvenience than a priority. When I entered my room, there was a large hole in the ceiling directly above the bed with exposed electrical wiring hanging down. I immediately returned to the front desk and requested a different room. Not once was I offered an apology for the condition of the room. Instead, I was simply handed keys to another room, which happened to be a handicap-accessible room that did not meet the accommodations I had reserved or expected. Beyond the room issues, the hotel had an overall strange atmosphere that made me feel uncomfortable. The property felt poorly maintained, the elevator had an unpleasant odor, and the air vents in the rooms were covered in what appeared to be years of dust and buildup, making cleanliness a major concern. Due to the condition of the hotel, the poor customer service, and the overall feeling of discomfort, I decided to leave and requested to speak with the general manager. I will spare the details of my conversation with Rich, but it was far from professional and, at times, felt disrespectful. I ended up staying at the Canopy nearby instead and had a much better experience.
