In the house it felt like we were a million miles away with sensational views of the valley below, while we were in fact just a short distance to all of the places we wanted to visit. The house was very well appointed and easily accommodated our family of 10\. We will most definitely return and recommend this chalet to others. We were an extended family of 14 people so we had the entire chalet. Although parts of the chalet are 350 years old (and wonderfully interesting!) other parts are more modern. We all enjoyed discovering the unique features of the chalet! The kitchens are modern but have rustic wood countertops to match the atmosphere of the chalet. The kitchens were well equipped. The grandchildren loved the loft area that was filled with toys. They called the area “the Kids’ Club”. The chalet was very well equipped and the owners were easy to contact! We arrived late at night because of a flat tire, but the owner had made sure to leave lights on for us to make it easy to find. Thanks so much! They had put teddy bears on the beds for the kids, what a cute idea! The lower bedrooms are cooler while the upper bedrooms are a bit warmer.
