"The motel needs work done to it badly. The room we were in needed the walls cleaned as they had stuff on them. Anything else was very clean. It’s just a very dated motel. No hairdryer is what got me as that is a standard in all hotel/motels. The staff though were wonderful."

"Pat was super helpful ahead of our check in, including giving us ideas where we might find dinner options nearby. The place was sooo quiet and sitting on the front porch as it got dark each night was enjoyable as the numerous deer appeared. All in all, the place fit our needs during our hiking trip to nearby Grayson Highlands and Mount Rogers NRA."

"I stayed at the Secluded Cabin for a halfway stop on a trip back to Ohio from South Carolina. Real close to I-77, which is awesome. The cabin is fantastic. Once inside you wouldn't think you were in a cabin on top of a mountain basically. Little small touches of decor inside and outside with plantings made it all the better. They had everything I needed to cook and grill there, except the food of course. The property outside is well maintined. I saw deer and hummingbirds while sitting on the really awesome covered front porch. The views of the mountains from the porch were amazing. Marc and Lindy are great hosts. They met me when I got there to assure I was good, then I was left on my own and I felt real comfortable inside the cabin and out. I highly recommend this property. I love the outdoors in mountains or hills. This property hit the spot. I'll be back when I go south again."
